  when waking up it often isn't an instant switch, there's a period of time when your conflicted feelings are heightened and most uncomfortable.

  can anyone remember specific instances in the time before you fully woke up that made you uncomfortable or guilty, despite you still being a 'believer'?.

  i can think of two right now, both about a year or two before i woke up:.

  It was such a gradual thing with me over a number of years that I would put at the back of my mind until you just can`t ignore those niggling things anymore.

  And without going into any detail how I managed to manipulate a body of Elders in a judicial case against a brother that they were "trying" {and who I thought they would be justly right in DF him} they didn`t do so and only reproved him ,simply because I threatened to name them personally as a body of Elders to both the branch in Australia and also to name them personally to the Branch/ HQ, in New York.

  They didn`t want to handle the case ,complicated as it was but he was now in their territory and had been for about 2 years .

  They tried to pressure me to leave it in Jehovah`s hands and I wouldnt have a bar of it ,I said you handle it or I go to the both Branches lodging a complaint about you .

  And to my surprise they did not DF him but only reproved him.

  That`s when the penny dropped for certain that their is no God directing this organization.

  Don't give them 2019

  i am writing the post i have wanted to write for some time.

  it's a heartfelt note to those still attending meetings, still caught between the lines of watchtower and the world.

  those with kids or a spouse in the society..... despite being mentally out....those who have weighed up that there is too much to lose in leaving.

  2018 Service Year Report up

  Isnt this report really a report of a failing religious organization ? that has lost its way ?

  Reduced congregations worldwide.

  Increases in those claiming to be of the Anointed Class ? When they are supposed to be decreasing every year.

  Most baptisms can be attributed to children of JW`s. and not those responding to D2D witnessing

  Stagnant growth in most western affluent Nations .

  Most growth in poorer third world countries

  Reduced numbers of Branches around the world.

  Significantly reduced printed materials for the brothers and sisters.

  And their forever asking /begging for more money in donations ,pledges ,wills . { ice cream money from kids } Ok that last one was a joke .

  Their has to be more to the list I gave above ?

  He came back and he will engage again after the new year ,good for him.

  the solstice this year will be extra special because it will be followed the next day by a full moon known as the cold moon, and depending on your location, you might be able to see the ursid meteor shower to boot.. enjoy!

  If God/ Jehovah was so forthcoming in giving revelations and visions about his purposes 2000 years ago during and after Jesus presence on earth ,why is he so silent now since we are supposed to be living in the time of the end ?

  Isnt this the time he should be communicating with his faithful servants now ?

  Especially now with all of the modern technologies of communication we have now.

  Jehovah`s Witnesses are a joke with all of their failed expectations in their 140 odd years of claiming to be his only channel of communication.

  does anyone remember the video the jw came out with that showed the mom getting a phone call from her disfellowshipped daughter?

  she is tempted to answer but doesn't .

  she wants to be faithful to jehovah.

  Yes its is disgusting and whats more is that in one breath they say/show this then they deny that they pursue 'shunning'..

  That`s why I keep reminding people that the JW`s speak out of both sides of their mouth,that they speak with a forked tongue..

  Question abouth wrong doing

  some years ago watchtower wrote that some arrangement in the organisation, they probably made wrong.

  some months ago tony morris said that faithful slave is not perfect and could have done some arrangements organisation wrong.

  do you think they meant the two witness rule, the disfellowshipping arrangement or anything else?

  The G.B.of J.W`s have never apologized for making a mistake in any of their statements ,predictions their evidently`s or any of their false prophecy`s .

  And they never will .

  On the one hand they claim to be the spokesperson for Jehovah Almighty God who is only using this channel of communication to humans via holy Spirit.

  On the other hand they claim they are only human and can make mistakes because they are not perfect human beings.

  Yet they still want you to unquestionably obey them and their directions even if you can`t see the reason or logic behind what they are asking of you ? Just be obedient and obey them ?

  If that doesn`t raise red flags about this religion ,then i pity you.

  They speak out of both sides of their mouth

  My thoughts are now going back more than 25-40 years ago now when the WTB&TS was boasting about the increases taking part in all of the world particular`y in Japan , Italy , Zambia , Mexico ,and I just wonder how these country`s are faring now .?

  Are they stagnant ,gone backwards , or still having strong growths ?
