Do Any Of You Dream About JW Friends You had ?

what prompted this topic was a dream i had last night where i was engaged in a conversation i had with an old friend where i was trying to prove where the jw`s were wrong from their own bible.. and this is not the first time i have had such dreams.. often times i have had dreams about people i have known in the religion .. remember i have been away from the religion for more than 26 years now and in a totally different part of the country .. i now wonder if any of them ever dream about my wife and i ?

but that`s something i`ll never know.. do any of you have any such experiences ?.

maybe i`m spending too much time on this site lol.

was wondering if there were any kids my age (17) in my area that are still in the organization because of their parents but want to get out.

I can understand you wanting to make a connection with someone in your own area huniepie but just be careful you don`t divulge too much information about yourself until you are absolutely certain you know and can trust whoever should contact you.

Is The Governing Getting Bad Advise From Trusted People Who Know TTATT?

as all their very bad internet appearance continues multiply in despicability according to some type of moore's law thingy and grows exponentially(not linearly) i'm sure most of the higher ups have not imposed upon themselves the gb inspired bans on information sources found on the internet.

so that a great many of those surrounding the governing body are aware of ttatt and are playing the cards they have been dealt with and are bluffing(by hiding resentment and disgust) the gb almost every step with a secret death wish guiding their correspondence with these despicable evil clowns.. the governing body are only fooling themselves the about the loyalty they have imagined their at home base because there has to be fifth column right there.. .

Holy Spirit - Present or Gone in the Congregations?

i was doing some reminiscing and remember the days back in the late 80s and early 90s where i truly could say the meetings were so encouraging and that i felt the holy spirit present and operating on all of us.

today when i attend, there is nothing of the sort.

is it because jehovah has withheld it?

"Oh you have to return to the congregation's Kingdom Hall because it's the only place in the world where Jehovah is with his Holy Spirit."

And when they, the Jehovah`s witnesses sell that Kingdom hall dedicated to Jehovah to one of Christendom`s churches as they do , then

presumably Jehovah`s holy Spirit now remains in one of Christendom`s Churches.
If a Dedication of a kingdom hall to Jehovah can become null and void ,then why

can`t a person / individuals dedication to Jehovah by water baptism become null and void when that person / individual for whatever reason decides to leave the religion of Jehovah`s witnesses ?

Their is no negative effects with a building or the "Brothers" who are responsible for the sale of a KH to a religion of Christendom ,so why should there be any negative effects with any of the rank and file brothers and sisters who decide to leave the religion.

A Kingdom hall that has now become a Church of Christendom speaks volumes against Jehovah`s Witnesses as a "True "religion

i think i’m going insane.... i’m 17 years old and being raised in a jw household.

i really want friends and a boyfriend but i can’t have that because my parents are jw and i’m also homeschooled.

they are those jw parents that refuse to let me go to public school because of bad influences.

"If I leave my family will be torn apart". Do you want to live your life based on what your family want`s you to do ?

Or do you want to live your life based on what you want to do ?

Its your life and only you have to live it nobody else ,do what you want to do.

Your nearly 18 so make plans to adopt some of the good advice that`s already been given you here on this site ,don`t rush it ,take your time and plan your exit well.

Whatever happened to the statement of Charles Taze Russell the founder of the International Bible Students Association that later became known as Jehovah`s Witnesses that said words to the effect that

They would never beg / ask for money ,when it wasn`t given freely out of the generosity of the people and not under compulsion then they would know the work was accomplished /finished .

Or words to that effect.

And if that resolution is put forward to Australian Congregations that would amount to about $10 per publisher .

And with a membership of about 60-70,000 publishers thats not a bad scam is it.

what advice do you have for a teenager that is being raised as a witness but not baptized?

everyone is pressuring her to get baptized how to avoid that till they are 18 and they are 16?

how to stay sane in a household of religion you don´t believe in.

Whatever you/she does do not be pressured by anyone into doing something your not ready for .Tactfully point out that you will make your own decision when you are ready to do so and not before .

Whatever you do it has to be a heartfelt decision you make and not one that is made under pressure from anybody else family included .

The new World Translation of The Christian Greek Scriptures as JW`s like to call it otherwise known as The New Testament by most other Christians contains this interesting fact.

1. Their are something like 20 scriptures in the New Testament that charges Christians to be witnesses to, , for, or about Jesus Christ ......Not Jehovah

2 .In Php.2:10 "That in the name of Jesus every knee should bend those in Heaven those on earth and those under the ground" .......Not Jehovah

3. Their are no scriptures none at all in the New Testament /Christian Greek scriptures that admonish Christians to witness to,for, or about Jehovah

4. Isa.43:10-12 that JW`s like to bring up ,however notice that the Jews / Israelites never ever adopted that name ? And when Jesus was on the earth he never challenged the Jews for not adopting that name .

5. Isa.62:2 b "And you will actually be called by a new name which the very mouth of Jehovah will designate"

6. Acts.11:26 b " And it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians"

Do i need to highlight that it was by DIVINE PROVIDENCE that they were called Christians and not Jehovah`s Witnesses ?

7. The publication the WTB&TS printed ,The Kingdom Interlinear Of The Christian Greek Scriptures never contained the Tetragrammaton in either Hebrew or Greek letters a word for word Greek text into English and the name of God they render Jehovah never appears there.

So my question to you and anybody else who thinks that way is :

Was GOD / JEHOVAH`s HOLY SPIRIT ever with the International Bible Students Association that morphed into the Jehovah`s Witness religion in the first place ?

Judging by the above I would say no

That was an excellent summary jwleaks and the work that Steven Unthank and Lara Kaput as well as others in getting this message out their about the abuse of children in the Jehovah`s Witness organization into Government and Legal circles on a Worldwide scale is truly commendable .
