contrary to popular belief and what society and the media will portray satanism, devil worship and witchcraft are 3 very independent systems of belief, .
sure, to those who are afraid of looking into books dealing with the occult, for fear of being possessed or what have you, i write this as a vent because it makes me laugh when i hear people assume that the three are the same, they aren't, .
and the reality is that even though the three get bunched up as the same, many times it is the ignorance of the practitioners which keeps the ignorance alive.
I am also interested in the occult.
I have started reading books on the Goddess aspect of the universe. As to the sacrificing of goats, lambs, etc., wasn't that what God's followers were told to do in the OT? If we got caught today out in a field slitting a goat from ear to ear and praising God (a God or Goddess), which is exactly what Abel, Noah, Abraham (who came close to human sacrifice)did, we'd be arrested and watched veeeerrryy carefully!

Slayer, I WAS young then. I got married before I was 17 and moved to Laurens. So, I was going to that cong, when I was 17, 18 and 19. But, I don't think I'm the same April. I met my ex-husband at the assembly in Greenville. And his family moved to Simpsonville. He moved to Gray Court and is still there I hope!
I thank Bro. Sanders to this day for helping me with my divorce! Actually what happened was, my jw husband beat the crap out of me in front of the kids and when I called the brothers over they told me to be in subjection. I was outta there so fast!!!!

1. i was born and raised in south georgia.. 2. my favorite subject in school was math.. 3. i was in the fulltime service (bethel and pioneer) for 4 years.. 4. my favorite color is blue.. 5. mitch and i have been together over 12 years.. 6. we live in a suburb of atlanta georgia.. 7. we love to eat out and have friends over for dinner and board games.. 8. the only sport i was ever any good at is tennis.. 9. my favorite tv show of all time is the simpsons.. 10. we are both naturists and wish we could lay on the beach naked every day.

1. I was born in Portland, Maine, but lived in South Carolina most of my life. I am 44 and live in Chicago now. I love it here.

8. I have 6 children. 2 still at home, Gabriel, age 12, and Dominic, age 9. The rest grown, married, on their own.
9. I am starting college in the fall. Northwestern U. At 44 I will finally get a degree.
10. Right now I am unemployed. I worked for Monkey Wards almost 7 years until they went belly-up! I hate corporations!

I have been reading posts here for a while, but only decided to take the plunge tonight. I'm female, 44, and live in Chicago. I was a witness for about 20 years. Attended my last Memorial in '93. So, enough of me.
