  According to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit, the bus driver has been suspended and an investigation is pending.

  "Upon identifying the driver, he was immediately suspended and removed from duty. His behavior is absolutely unacceptable."

  New TV documentary about the Longo murders

  last night, investigation discovery channel premiered an episode titled fatal devotion.

  it was documentary about the longo murders in oregon in 2001. chris longo, recently disfellowshipped in another state for check fraud, moved his young wife and three young children out west to make a new start but wound up murdering them all and fleeing to mexico.

  the series is titled final witness.

  SAD news about OOMPA......

  our friend, oompa, has passed away.

  just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

  it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

  to date JWism has defined my life and i hate that TRUTH

  and i am finding the adjustment to the real world far more difficult than i ever imagined...i f...it has been about five years since i totally woke up to the fraudulant nwt and then all my other doubts i had carried for years were proved true as well.

  but almost all of my few friends are exjw or slack jw's and i feel so isolated...my sons friends are mostly exjw too but not their gf's and they have way more normal friends .

  how have you done at replacing lifelong friends and family?

  I watched this entire video...spellbound. Many others have stated what I was also thinking but I have one other thing to add regarding your questions about who was the 'slave' in the 1400s, the 1700s, etc. Most think of these 'elders' as professionals and as such they should have advanced knowledge on ALL subjects relating to the 'organization,' the founders, the history. It appears to me that if they couldn't answer your questions and would have to go 'look it up,' then they are not professionally qualified to 'decide' any persons' future. And yet they decide fates and destroy entire families.

  Also, I would love to know the stats on how many are called into one of these judicial meetings and the outcome is NOT already decided. How many leave with a pat on the back from the elders and an "Oops, our bad?? Sorry for the inconveniece. Go on home and forget this ever happened!"

  the stranger glances side to side, eyes peeled, studying the tranquil neighborhood, searching for motion, for movement, for any sign of activity, as he glides his beige chevy cavalier station wagon to a stop in front of the elegant white house.

  he cuts the engine and with it the air conditioner as the punishing sun journeys between the sparsely positioned, comic book character clouds and endeavors to bake and blind him.
