  I am EXHAUSTED!!

  i have been back and forth back and forth all day with two jws (although one says she is disfellowshipped-makes no sense)...on the board dedicated to prince.

  i feel as if i've been boxing.

  but no matter...others read it and that's what's important.

  once when i was profoundly sad for too many days, my brother in law sent us a mix tape.

  he named each song after a person in our family.

  Oh wow I was just on a 3 hr layover last month in Vegas on my way home from Palm Springs. I didn't know anyone there and I don't gamble. I just sat in the airport drinking coffee. I would have visited.

  Thanks Honesty. You're right...there is no logic there. I mainly post for those who read the forum and are not JWs. I just appreciate this forum so much for all the info I can find.

  I have been back and forth back and forth all day with two JWs (although one says she is disfellowshipped-makes no sense)...on the board dedicated to Prince. I feel as if I've been boxing. Was on here a lot today combing the site for info concerning child molestation court cases, Barbara, etc. No matter how much info, videos, and fact-based links I posted...they still defended the society until I felt as if I was getting sick to my stomach. Finally when they knew they couldn't defend the society's stance anymore, they resorted to calling me names and threatening to 'report' me to the mods. I told her to PLEASE do that. She said I was a 'frenzied' exjw. I just laughed and told them I was now going to sacrifice to my goat to Satan.

  But no matter...others read it and that's what's important. If one person reads and realizes what a horrible organization it is, then my work is worth it.

  my sister in law has been shunned by the family since she da'd herself at the age of 18 and moved out of the house.

  i always insisted that my wife keep in contact with her and made sure she knew she had a soft place to land,with us, should she need it.

  even at the risk of it getting us in hot water with the pioneer,elder,bethelite family members there was no way we were going to let her disappear into the wild blue yonder on her own.

  A multi-national, nonprofit Bible educational group, the Watchtower will use its new 53,000-square-foot building at MTP for its Watchtower Educational Center - Pacific. The educational center will be comprised of four conference rooms and one auditorium equipped with multimedia audio/visual equipment with multi-language capabilities to accommodate conferences, seminars and training classes.

  ...based on the Big Island, said he has seen numerous church groups coming to town looking for properties to buy with the intention of establishing a worship facility or for business purposes.

  "The whole aspect of being a church is extremely attractive. Churches have some flexibility in doing things they wouldn't be able to do otherwise," Jardine said.

  But according to Nathan Wong, assistant to the branch manager at The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, there is a great need for these types of facilities.

  Better known as the Jehovah's Witnesses, the society recently opened a $20 million, 130,000-square-foot facility at the Mililani Technology Park.

  The group established an educational and meeting facility -- situated on 3.4 acres next to Oceanic Cable -- called the Watchtower Educational Center Pacific.

  The center will house programs based on practical direction from the bible geared toward businesses and community organizations.

  Because of its massive size, the group has been approached by individuals wanting to rent the site for personal events but Wong said the building will remain purely for bible educational meetings.

  The center features a main auditorium large enough to fit 1,500 visitors, smaller meeting rooms, and a multimedia facility housed with the latest in electronic devices.

  And the society -- which has 300 members in the area -- is continuing its quest to build a larger presence in the Islands with its 24,200-square-foot two-story meeting hall being built at the former Ranch House site in Aina Haina.

  The Jehovah's Witnesses -- who rely heavily on donations to operate -- purchased the 60,890-square-foot site for $3.6 million to build a facility for both prayer and education. Construction is scheduled for completion in October.

  My mother passed away this morning...

  for any old-school ex-jws here that remember my many posts about my abusive jw mother and my sister committing suicide because of it...she passed away this morning because she began to bleed out and refused a transfusion.

  she had been in the hospital for a month.

  it appears she suffered a stroke and wasn't found by the brothers & sisters for three days (they missed her at the meetings).

  ((((GRACE!!!!)))) You have given me much inspriation in my years here. Thank you!!! Left in the cold...I will assess the situation when I get there Friday morning. If I feel that it's just too much to fight about. then my uncle can keep it all. I've fought so long and with so many JWs over the years that I don't know if I have any fight left in me. But I will decide when I get there.
