i was at work tonight and we were joking around and talking about old shows we used to watch while growing up.
i thought it would be fun if we wrote a line from a show and see if we could guess what show it came from.
my name is lenny, and if i ain't got it, there isn't any.

"Jesse!!! Leroy!!! I know you can do better than that!!! Higher!!!"

how many of you guys really believed and took to heart every word that was written in it?
i was recently rereading it and it was ridiculous how sophomoric and unrealistic some of the answers to the questions were (e.g.

in my never-ending task of trying to get my niece out of jws clutches, i have good news.
just a brief history.
my lifetime jw mom raised my niece from the age of 9 due to my sister's alcohol and drug abuse.
Marilyn, when I started trying to put the information together, I was only going to send maybe 10 pages. I read a lot on this board before I ever posted. One of the reasons I decided to stay was because of all the great information here.
Everytime I'd read a really imformative post, I'd copy it. I'd tell myself that was it, and I'd mail it tomorrow. Then tomorrow came and I'd see another great post. Two ink cartridges and 235 pages later, it finally went to SC.
(That's a good idea. To have important posts compiled into a book.)
About your niece, I agree it's so sad the "conditional" love JWS have for their family members. My mother made my niece feel that if she didn't get baptized at 12, she didn't LOVE her, and laid the biggest guilt trip you could imagine on a girl who was already emotionally unstable. Then my mother couldn't understand why she ran away at 16!
I'm waiting here each day for the phone to ring. Each time it does, I hold my breath, hoping it's Stephanie. Nothing yet. I guess she needs time to read it all. And digest it. I'm so impatient!
Ranchette, I like that "reverse field service".
