An imagined conversation between a JW and Jehovah God on judgment day:

Why have you placed men between yourself and Christ Jesus, My installed mediator? (1Ti 2:5)

They said that they were Your representatives.

You were given clear instructions in My Bible that there is only one mediator and that if you want to come to Me you must go through him, and only him. (1Ti 2:5; Jn 14:6)

But they said that we had to follow their interpretations and instructions in order to please You.

Why did you listen to them when I clearly told you not to follow any man? (Isa 2:22; Ps 146: 3, 4; Jer 17:5; Ac 5:29)

Because they said that those scriptures do not apply to them.

No one is exempt from My commandments.

But they seemed like such good men, and they did so many good deeds.

You were warned multiple times that false Christs would do many powerful works in my Son's name, and skillfully wrap themselves in sheep's covering to appear righteous. (Mt 7:22; 24:24; Mr 7:9; 13:22; Mt 7:15; Eph 4:14) And you were repeatedly given the command: "Do not go after them" (Lu 21:8; Mt 24:23; Mr 13:21; Lu 17:23) So why did you not obey?

Because they are the ones who taught me the message of Your Son.

As they ought to have done. (Lu 17:10) But you are no longer a lamb or little sheep are you? (Jn 21:15-17) You are a mature sheep who should be consuming solid food directly from my Word which gives you everything you need. (2Ti 3:17) But you continued to rely on milk from a teacher instead. (He 5:12) Why?

Because they said that I must continue to consume their milk in order to please You.

You were told, were you not, that If a blind man guides a blind man that both will fall into a pit? (Mt 15:4) Yet you continued to blindly follow those false Christs, against the many commandments not to. (My 24:23-25) Therefore you will reap what you have sown. (Ga 6:7)

But I thought I was doing the right thing!

No, you were not thinking at all. As you repeatedly said, you were letting those men think for you. (Ac 4:19) Because of their brazen conduct they will receive what is coming to them. (2Pe 2:2; Mt 7:22, 23) And by your own words you too will be judged. (Lu 19:22)

I think I may be becoming an X-X-JW

i think i may be moving on shortly.

i officially joined this web-site 12 years ago as pimo about to exit the organisation.

i had spent about a year before that, as just a none commenting member.

It took a couple of years for me to lose interest in the org. It is no more interesting to me now then any other false religion. But since my interest turned to Bible truths instead, i still come back to theses sites to share.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17) because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. 17 Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord.

Christ descends, the dead chosen ones are resurrected, and then they and the living chosen ones "will, together with them, be caught away in clouds".

If he returned in 1914, that is when the dead and the living would have been "caught away."

(Matthew 24:45-47) “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so! 47 Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings.

The GB say that Christ returned in 1914 and appointed them to feed his sheep at that time, but those verses say that the master returns, identifies who had been following his command to feed his domestics while he was away (Mt 28:19; Mt 21:33) and appoints them over all his belongings. (Mt 28:18)

Since the Governing Body do not exercise authority over heaven and earth, over angels and governments (Mt 28:18), he must not have returned and appointed them over all his belongings yet.

That happens at Armageddon. And what does it mean to be sealed?

(2 Corinthians 1:22) He has also put his seal on us and has given us the token of what is to come, that is, the spirit, in our hearts.

(Ephesians 1:13) But you also hoped in him after you heard the word of truth, the good news about your salvation. After you believed, you were sealed by means of him with the promised holy spirit,

(Ephesians 4:30) Also, do not be grieving God’s holy spirit, with which you have been sealed for a day of releasing by ransom.

So the chosen ones are sealed (anointed) at Armageddon, not before. The GB claim to be anointed.

Is there a way to tell if someone has been anointed with holy spirit? Yes:

(Acts 1:8a) But you will receive power when the holy spirit comes upon you,

That verse says that when someone is anointed they "receive power". What power?

(Acts 2:4) and they all became filled with holy spirit and started to speak in different languages, just as the spirit enabled them to speak.

(Acts 10:44-46) While Peter was still speaking about these matters, the holy spirit came upon all those hearing the word. 45 And the circumcised believers who had come with Peter were amazed, because the free gift of the holy spirit was being poured out also on people of the nations. 46 For they heard them speaking in foreign languages and magnifying God.

(Acts 19:6) And when Paul laid his hands on them, the holy spirit came upon them, and they began speaking in foreign languages and prophesying.

Those three verses tell us that anointed ones are given the "power" to speak in foreign languages. That is how Peter knew they had received the Holy Spirit, "for", or because they began to speak in foreign languages. (Ac 10:46) Have the GB been given the power to speak in foreign languages? No.

Paragraph 4: "When an unrepentant wrongdoer is removed from the congregation, an announcement is made to inform the congregation that he is no longer one of Jehovah’s Witnesses."

They have always called them 'unrepentant wrong doers'.

So as long as they are repentant, they are not disfellowshipped (removed) right?
That means that all of those people who were disfellowshipped in the past were "unrepentant".

They were glad they did what they did and would do it again. No regrets.

Yeah right!

(Luke 17:4) Even if he sins seven times a day against you and he comes back to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
