This agreement “for the forgiveness of sins” is rejected by 20 million people each year during the Watchtower Satanic version of the Lord’s supper.
Im assuming this is when JWs refrain from consuming the bread and wine?
praying to god “through the son jesus” has nothing to do with christ as mediator.. do jw's even know what a mediator does?.
i am in the insurance restoration construction business and have been in mediation many times when a policy holder sues an insurance company for not paying everything they believe is due them under the terms of their policy for property damage.. i am brought in as a technical expert.. in mediation, the plaintiff (policy holder) and the defendant (insurance company) are placed in separate rooms, they do not talk to each other.
they are separated because the dispute has alienated the one from the other.

how many of you here remember 1975?
i hope the newer generations never forget.the true believers got shamed for it.
those who were hedging their bets, fared much better.
Also, what were JWs doing on December 31st? Were they camping out at the kingdom hall, at groups at home?

Anyone care to describe in more detail what was happening as 1975 turned into 1976 for JW? Those first few weeks of 1976 for example. It seems that they couldn't just discard 1975 all that quickly?
on a trip to rome a few years ago i asked my friend (who is roman and jw) what the catholic faith thinks of jw.
he simply stated that jw is tolerated by the church but that really not much thought is given to them.
is there an official stance on jw by the catholics?
TTWSYF -Worth mentioning that the Catholic Church does recognize most other protestant denominations baptisms, but they do not accept the JW baptism as legitimate.
Wondering if this means that the catholic church doesn't believe JWs can attain salvation?

so god let 10 million people die in world war 2 but was too busy to help....what kind of diety does this!
if i was god i would have done something .
But 'man (men)' nonetheless?

And like all gods, does not exist, and never has, all gods were made up by men.
In other words, man is God?
for believers of god and christ, it seems that it should be obvious that babylon the great of revelation should be all religions and spiritual practices associated with the one true enemy of christ...the devil, satan, the snake etc.
essentially any group or individual practicing and promoting witchcraft, sorcery, devil worshipping etc.
all things practiced in ancient babylon (the nation presumably used as the model for the one in revelation).. or is this too simple of an explanation?.
Just read revelation with no biases, it doesn't take long. Its actually a really enjoyable, interesting read.
Indeed, a very positive message overall despite the darker aspects like the aforementioned Babylon and the Beast she rides on. I suppose the 'light' in this book makes absolutely knowing what these dark elements fully are less consequential.

But superstitions about 'magic' were commonplace and not in any way unique to Babylon, nor did they originate there. (He already shot himself in the foot before by alluding to the Canaanite superstitions about magic practiced by Manasseh.)
Imagine using examples of magic practices from the Bible to argue that magic isn't real...

Also, although the Babylonians were polytheists, their deities were viewed as more capricious rather than each being definitively 'good' or 'evil', and they didn't practice 'devil worship'
From Isaiah -
sit in the dust,
Virgin Daughter Babylon;
sit on the ground without a throne,
queen city of the Babylonians.[a]
I will take vengeance;
I will spare no one.”
7 You said, ‘I am forever—
the eternal queen!’
They will come upon you in full measure,
in spite of your many sorceries
and all your potent spells.
