Seems untrue due to the fact that anti-bodies were detected in mice in response to the T-Rex hemeglobin that was injected into them. If the heme were replaced with other material, there would have been no antibody response.Is there a source for this? At any rate, that's encouraging, because it is strongly suggestive of intact proteins.

The bones and the "tissue" within IS fossilized.With all due respect PP, you seem to be trying to say that what people see isn't really what they are seeing.
As Seymour (And Discover magazine) pointed out, is still unknown whether the soft tissues are original tissues. Fossil flexible tissues and nucleated cells have been found before in which the original material had been replaced. In other words, even though it was flexible, it was still fossillized, not preserved tissue.

I think he might mean the YEC crowd who typically pounce on things like this and claim it as proof that dinosaurs lived a scant few thousand years ago.

someone mentioned this book in another thread (getbusyliving i think), so i checked it out from the library.. it is a decent enough book but was a little put off by the almost sarcastic/antagonistic tone throughout much of the book.

russell held that christ's return was realized in 1874. we also know that this date was moved forward by 40 years, to 1914 during the rutherford presidency.
the dishonesty of the society in printing things that either openly state, or strongly imply that a 1914 parousia is what the bible students taught from the very beginning has been the subject of discussion lately.
i think what is far less clear is when and how this change from 1874 to 1914 actually happened.

You're right as rain. 1874 continued to be a "millenium marker" clear up until the 1940's (Sort of like 1975 is today)

I'm not deliberately trying to be argumentative, but how strong an indictment is this given the fact that masonic images can be found in the artwork of almost any denomination? (It's Masonry that has borrowed from Christianity, not the other way around.)
