What Fun Things Have You Been Doing While In Lock-Down?
by Simon inso we've all been locked down and there's only so much netflix / prime / disney / hbo you can watch and computer games you can play.
what has everyone been doing to pass the time?.
when you're completely stuck inside and working from home it can get a bit boring staring at the same walls all day and then in the evening as well.

“White Privilege”
by minimus inlately that’s all i’ve been hearing about!
i’m sick and tired of listening to white people begging for forgiveness simply because they are white.
in a nearby town, a six year old girl asked her mom, “ why don’t we have a black lives matter march here?
-
TD
Social privilege is a group phenomenon, that does not necessarily apply to any particular individual within the group.
(e.g. Although white privilege was real in the early 1940's, that didn't mean a whole helluva lot to Jewish people in Auschwitz-Birkenau and other extermination camps.)
Nothing screams, "I have no friggin clue what I'm talking about" more than people applying it to individuals today.

US military pussing out
by phoenixrising inthe us military is really pussing out over the past several years.
mixing women and men and wondering why women get pregnant on the front line and letting in trannys and others who should not be in the military now the bend over to terrorist groups like blm and others.
if we ever have to go toe to toe with the big boys of the world that do not puss out we may very well get our asses kicked.

Iran is not the only country that mistakes tolerance for weakness. China was throwing around the term, "Paper Tiger" when I was a child. (And I am as old as dirt now...)
At the same time however, China used to get into border skirmishes with the former USSR, which is a military more on par with the US in terms of structure and philosophy. China got a black eye every single time as I recall.
As a comparison, Phoenix, do you think Israel does poorly in combat?
I'd also add that the mystique of conservatism was that we were strict constructionists when it came to the Constitution. Especially the 2nd amendment.
Bemoaning the lack of military intervention on our own soil makes me wonder what has become of conservatism.

Russell for all intents and purposes was a Zionist and people with that mindset tended to be very progressive and tolerant.
Rutherford was a different story entirely.

More on SARS-CoV-2
by TD inbelow is a link to a peer reviewed paper by virologists and vaccine experts birger sørensen and angus dalgleish.
according to the study, which was published in the quarterly review of biophysics, the coronavirus’s spike protein contains sequences that appear to be artificially inserted.
to my knowledge, this is the first solid piece of evidence that this pandemic may have been man-made.. (emphasis on "may" --i'm sure this is not the last word on the subject).

Thanks for the additional links, AA. I've found Google translate to be below horrible with anything more than short declarative sentences, but I understand the gist of the two articles.

Tips for Traversing Tumultuous Times (MicroAgressions)
by JW_Researcher inmany of us are confused so this hand-dandy chart may assist.. .

TD
The pyramid chart is apparently the invention of assistant professor Erin Stutelberg at Salisbury University in Maryland.
Stutelberg teaches a one credit course called Diversity and the Self which is requirement for elementary education majors.
The chart was meant to be controversial; it was meant to spark discussion in the classroom.
In the words of Dr. Stutelberg herself:
"I don't think there is anything unusual or unique about controversial images or materials being used in classes to stimulate thinking and discussion. This was one of several tools used."
The problem here and elsewhere is that the chart is being presented outside of that context as something definitive.
It's not.
In addition to the idiotic idea that Dr. Martin Luther King's' ideology of judging people by their character is somehow racist, the notion of a "White savior complex" is openly racist itself inasmuch as it is a "condition" predicated upon a person's skin color.
I guess poor Anja here just doesn't know she's really a racist:

Okay, somebody explain, "White Savior Complex"
A cursory Google search conveys the impression that every white person who volunteered for the Peace Corp would be included...

Would You Like To See Your Police Departments “Defunded”?
by minimus indo you think it’s a good idea?.
-
TD
Definitely no.
Departments that feel the need to buy a real military tank should probably spend their money more wisely though.
