  Things get confusing when it comes to Portugal, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Albania, Armenia, etc.

  The french language is very strict about this. There is no " it" and no "das". You are either female or just male without the "fe". hence le " oh la la. "

  So what is the gender of the noun, féminisme (feminism) in French?

  In common speech, the term, "Person of color" usually refers to someone whose skin tone is darker than a typical Northern European.

  It should not be confused with the term, "Race." Race was about the shape of your skull, not your skin color

  Pasteurization, I believe, is mostly confined to "Big beer" these days. Craft beers are typically bottle conditioned, even those from medium sized breweries like Sierra Nevada, Mendocino, North Coast, Kona, etc.

  But yeah. I get it about the two being entirely different forms of fermentation.

  to be born a woman is a great disadvantage in many parts of the world and much more if she is part of a destructive sect like the jehovah’s witnesses where she is submitted to the “theocratic order” being the base that sustains the corporate pyramid, displaying submission at all times before male authority.

  those of us that have been part of this cult can verify that the woman has to carry out a series of practices that for the rest of society is somewhat incomprehensible.

  i’d like to draw your attention to the act of head covering, if for any reason a woman has to pray in public while a male is present, who is not available to lead the prayer, she must cover her head because she wouldn’t be respecting the arrangement of authority if she didn’t.

  I am mystified and disheartened that there are negative reactions to this true and beautiful piece.

  There was a retired attorney who used to participate here. Some of you may remember her. She was a big fan of the Beatles.

  One day she asked the men here in all seriousness, "How have you adjusted to no longer being a dictator in your home?"

  I don't think she meant it badly. For whatever reason, she bought into a very warped view of what it is like to be a male in the JW faith.
  

  Similarly, I don't think the OP meant the things she said badly. Perhaps Mr. Duigenan's translation leaves something to be desired. Perhaps some of the things Ms. Padilla said that on the surface, appear to be patently false are actually true in her country.

  The author of that articles is a known quack and and antivaxer. You should take what he says with a grain of salt.

  No doubt.

  Mercola is actually not the author of this particular claim though.

  He's summarizing a view that has appeared in several German sources, one of which is a formal research paper awaiting peer review.

  --Could very well be quackery, but the sources are more respectable than they appear at first glance
