  every republican president ever elected starting with reagan generated hysteria in the news media.

  they belittled, cajoled, ridiculed, mocked and resisted the highest elected leader in the land in an attempt to overturn the will of the people.

  And, now its over. We will never see another Republican President.

  Sure we will. Biden's anti-gun agenda is enough all by itself to swing moderates back to the conservative side.

  Republicans will repair the damage Trump has done and go back to being the party of reason, moderation and constitutional scholarship.

  Who knows? Maybe in time, Trump supporters will learn the difference between conservatism and populism and understand why even conservative groups like the Heritage and Second Amendment Foundations had problems with him

  I pointed out to Jim Penton years ago that the Dixie Chicks comments abroad would likely alienate their Middle America fan base and got basically the same response

  To be fair, there is a segment of liberals, mostly on the coasts, who view the inhabitants of Texas, Arizona, etc. to be a bunch of uneducated podunks.

  Believe it or not, JWN was very liberal 12 to 15 years ago and comments like that were made more than a few times

  i thought that as there seems to have been some very serious sh-stuff being discussed lately maybe a light hearted thread might be in order .

  i was thinking about misheard song lyrics ( climb every woman ) and it seemed a good topic for a thread .to start off for many years l thought that fat boy slim was singing about some very posh shoes with funk soul rubber on the bottom .

  has anyone else realised that they have been singing the wrong words ?
