  JWs at Culture Fest

  the state university where we live has cultural festivals educating the public about art, food and music of the minorities in the community.

  it is also an opportunity for some to generate a little income selling their wares and food.

  the jws have successfully put up a booth right in the campus building and used it to actively proselytize and distribute literature.

  How many terms does the bible bother to explain

  the bible is well known for its ellipsis* and its lack of explanatory statements of a term used.

  there are exceptions in grammatical patterns, such as john exclusively using archon for ruler in his writings - which make the term self evident.sin - is defined"one" (unity) - is somewhat defined and also self evident from the context (no exceptions, every person part of that unity is listed in the context)an interesting thing to see would be how many terms are actually used and explained.

  *the omission from speech or writing of a word or words that are superfluous or able to be understood from contextual clues..

  Ellipses (Like 1 Peter 3:3 for example) are sometimes used to indicate incomplete grammar.
  

  The presumption that the reader understands terms is a good argument (One of many) that the bible was written to, for and by people who knew the "backstory" and not us today.

  The Rashid Rover (UAE) and the SORA-Q (Japan) were launched on December 11 and are scheduled to arrive at the Atlas Crater in April of this year.

  Both devices are aboard the Hakuto-R lander, which is taking a very long, 5 month, low energy orbit.

  The Apollo and Lunokhod programs both placed retroreflectors that are still operational today. 3 were placed by Apollo astronauts and 2 were integral with the Lunokhod rovers.
  

  Any country can use them and therefore any country could falsify the claims of either the US or RU (Or both) if the reflectors were not at the coordinates they are supposed to be at.

  (And yeah. The LRO has photographed the tracks left by the Russian rovers and the Luna landers that carried them too)

  The MESA, which was a small storage compartment lowered from descent stage of the module after landing had an integral bracket where the camera was fixed during flight. (MESA = Modular Equipment Stowage Assembly)

  Aldrin lowered the MESA and activated the camera before Armstrong disembarked. That's way the actual recording is at such a goofy angle.

You watched animation so you associated what you saw with… you heard me talking about, you know, how many feet we’re going to the left and right and then I said contact light, engine stopped, a few other things and then Neil said ‘Houston, tranquility base. The Eagle has landed.’ How about that? Not a bad line.”

  There was no possible way to film the landing of the Eagle, as the cameras were securely stored inside it at the time of the landing.
  

  O'Brien (who was six years old at the time) either misspoke or mistook whatever animation he saw for reality. Either way, Aldrin responded humorously, but accurately.

  Aldrin's comment needs to be assessed in the context of "why something stopped" (His words) and Zoey's question, which was why nobody had been to the moon in a long time

  Anything less is JW style dishonesty

  I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you weren't alive at the time and don't remember the animations (?)

  Aldrin - Ha...That's not an eight-year-old's question; that's my question; I want to know, but I think I know. (pause) Because we didn't (pause) go there and that's the way it happened and, and if it didn't happen, it's nice to know why it didn't happen so in the future if we want to keep doing something we need to know why something stopped in the past that we wanted to keep going. Uh....money..is a good thing. If you want to buy new things, new rockets instead of doing the same thing over, it's going to cost more money and other things need more money too. So having achieved what the President wanted us to do and then what thousands, millions of people in America and millions of people around the world...You know when we toured around the world after we came back...the most fascinating observation were signs that said, "We did it" --not just use, not just America, but we, the world, different countries. They felt like they were part of what we were able to do and that made us feel very good.

  I think its abundantly obvious in context that Aldrin is talking about the period following the Apollo program. NASA went off in an entirely different direction (A reusable Space Shuttle)

  There's a hulluva difference between saying we didn't go back to the moon because we didn't and that's just the way it is versus saying we never went there at all and it was all a hoax.

  The latter can't be squared with Aldrin's mention of the money a new moon program would cost or his emotional recollection of the We Did It! signs (Which actually were a thing) or his statement that we achieved what the President wanted us to do or his response to other questions in the interview. (e.g. Weren't you a little scared going to the moon?)
  

  I'd also add that you are citing Flat Earth sources. I'm hoping you haven't gone down that rabbit hole too.
