There are lots of cool places to get a pint, or a drink, or whatever here in Salt Lake. I however am beyond the go-to-the-bar phase of my life and well into the stay-home-with-kids-and-wife phase. Boring I know, but far less painfull in the morning.

Xander, I agree that you can do those maps with a good team but how often can you get on a public server that has guys who want to work as a team? Now and then I can but mostly everyone just runs up and gets naded or tks you.

Similar thing here a couple months ago. A small town south of Salt Lake City had a school that was the "Red Devils" with a little devil mascot. They had a vote to try and change the name but surprisingly a huge majority voted to keep the little red guy after all. The fundies were fuming.

Just finished watching my Raiders beat the 49ers and yes I know its preseason but it is always a pleasure seeing the red and gold get pounded with their own ex-players, and Oakland does seem to have a lot of those....can you send us Terrel Owens next please.

i think i may have a potential problem on my hand.
over the last year or so, i've been attempting to go the slow fade route with the jw religion.
for the most part i've succeded, as my significant decrease in jw related activities has been greeted only by brief "pep talks" by my parents at worse.
I was in a very similar situation before I could move out of my parents house. Luckily we had recently moved to a very weak congregation where it was easy to avoid any direct confrontation. Many from my previous congregation tried to rally me back to acceptable levels of participation.
I think you are on the right track with the work thing. Try to avoid any private meeting as long as you can and nod your head and smile when you finally get cornered, but dodge any specific actions they may recommend. Be aware that these tactics will cause stress in your life. This should only be a temporary measure untill you can move away from the situation. Then you will be able to unburden yourself from your nessesary pretenses, and it will feel soooooo good to be free.

Xander i have been playing for a while now, just doing the new missions but I think they suck. I t would be nice to play with a good team. Some of the levels are very unbalanced. Assault on bridge is very hard, defending Insugent Camp is near impossible without a team that knows each other. The new airborne mission is ridiculous to defend, not even fun to assault bacause of it. It is an addictiong game however. Is your screen name Xander in the game?
