Norm,
If, according to the Watchtower, I make some good decisions that leads me and my family to material prosperity, do I credit God or the Devil? According to your quoted material, it would be wrong to credit Satan, right? Can't go around blaming/crediting the devil for everything, right?
On the other hand, if after achieving material comfort and I make some boneheaded decisions that leads me to financial ruin who's behind it? God??
Another question, if I may.
You quoted a January 1, 1988 Watchtower where it says that, "A person is identified as a 'sheep' or as a 'goat' by the way he responds to the angelic messages. During this 20th century, only Jehovah's Witnesses have cooperated with the angels in this vital work."
Okay, but wasn't there a later Watchtower--Oct/Nov '95?--that said the separating of the sheep and the goats hasn't started yet? How can they be "cooperating with the angels" in a work that they have come to find hasn't even started?
Brother, I'm so confused!! All you have done is given me one big headache, and my Sunday was going sooo well!!
peace,
todd
p.s. jokes aside, very good research.
