Fresh NZ gurnard or Snapper and chips yummy!
And throw in a few cooked Bluff oysters even better.
perhaps we could post the pictures the wt have presented in their literature that depict their version of paradise here for comment/discussion:.
from: spirits of the dead—can they help you or harm you?
do they really exist?.

i’ve been invited to the dedication at chelmsford.. it’s crazy here, several thousand ex bethelites here for lots of events.
all hotels booked.
big marquee.
cofty - Thanks mate for your reply. We get a tv programme here in Australia called
“Escape to the Country”. People who want out of the big cities and finding a quieter pace of life in a country setting. Some of the houses and villages are just stunning. They almost look perfect but of course nowhere is like that. But smaller towns and villages do have a more slower pace and genuine community connection.
What do you think about Devon?
Am thinking of coming over to stay for 6 months or so and am researching places that would work for me. But also need to go somewhere that gives me easy access to the Continent. Have a great day and hello from Brisbane!

In 1978 I visited Mill Hill. Was with another brother and we travelled from New Zealand to attend the International in Edinburgh Scotland. We also stayed in Chelmsford Essex.
Its apparently the home of Essex cricket, suppose it still is, just one of the things I remember. Have thought about going back to the UK again for a visit. Just love the country villages, pubs, scenery and historical aspect of the place. Things though have changed over the years and I guess it is less appealing in some ways. If anyone is out there living in the UK maybe they could tell me what is still wonderful about the place.
may 14, 2024. hello brothers at the writing committee.
many brothers and sisters are wondering when will the end come?
we were supposed to live in the last days of the last days as brother lett told a couple of years ago.

the watchtower characterizes christians not affiliated with the watchtower corporation as vomit eaters and filthy whores: .
“how well they pictured the spiritual drunkards of christendom at the present time!
besides actual wine and intoxicating liquors, there are other things to intoxicate the priests and preachers in christendom so as to induce drowsiness in them, to make them reel, to confuse things before their religious vision, to induce them to belch out the vomit of spiritually filthy things” - w59 3/1 pp.
Yes they should have toned it down a bit and there would have been less backlash.
I personally like to just sit on the sidelines on certain issues rather than make a fuss. For example I never got vaccinated for this Covid-19 outbreak when everyday I was told to get the shot and stay home. I simply ignored this as I was never going to get caught up in some experimental Big Pharma idea. Just last week Astra Zeneca told the world it was banning their vaccine as it had caused too many blood clot issues. The lesson again for me is never trust medical science unless of course that the product is fully safe and proven to work without dangerous side effects.

Governments do stupid things in time of war. The Australian government were no exception. Currently the Labor government has allowed 150 illegal non citizens who came here by boat originally and were criminals and who were locked up to be subsequently released into the community.
We were told these individuals were being monitored and watched but this did not stop some to continue on in their violent and criminal ways. Breaking into homes and severely bashing pensioners in their 70’s and committing sexual assaults and other anti social behaviour. I thought governments were there to make our lives safe and secure.
But we have the reverse here at present.
probably everyone else thought of this long ago, but i, being an "independent thunker" thunk of it just a coupla weeks ago.. we all know that since the year zero (on the fredfranzian calendar) the wtb&ts has defied archaeology and insisted that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce, even though the physical evidence shows that 587 bce is a more likely date.
in fact, the book "the gentile times reconsidered: have jehovah's witnesses been wrong all along about 607 bce?
" by carl olof jonsson and rud persson made this conversation public.. it is a difference of 20 years.
Anything substantial that is coming out of these rumour mills Nathan that you can share?

I lived in New Plymouth from 1958 - 1980.
Went to school there, but can’t say I knew anyone by the name of Hume.

What a great sight Mt Taranaki or Mount Egmont as it was first called by Captain Cook when he first saw it. Has got some early snow also I notice. I grew up in New Plymouth.
But have not been back for 35 years. It’s a great mountain to climb, can be done in one day. Best in summer as I did with my brother in the early 1980’s.
