i went back to the borg, for family reasons and the concept was after a year or so to fade out.
i m into the fade out process now.
Does any one know, how to "change" congregation and loose the publisher files during the relocation?
Start attending meetings in the new congregation. It's that simple. I have more to say but I'm afraid that might fall into the "unnecessary comments" category.

so i'm cleaning out my jw mom's house since she's gone to assisted living.
she had tons of bound volumes of the wt and awake from the 80's and 90's and the cousins decided to recycle all of them since "everything is online now.
they even recycled old nwt bibles!!
Never ceases to amaze me the way brainwashed people work, and how they use their Jehovah nonsense to their advantage.

well, i just wanted to share with you that i've been called to work in a high school and my first week of work has been amazing!
this job is not permanent, it will end in july, but finally i got rid of many doubts about my adequacy for this job: i love it!

i converted at age 22, and left 15 years later (1988) so i don't really know what its like to be in high school as a jw.

I don't think that some JW things have changed. In school, today kids have to worry about not getting shot, so I imagine that their JW background is a secondary issue now.
many common phrases i've used all my life have been made obsolete by technology advancements.
"roll up the window" (car windows don't roll up any longer with a hand crank.).
"hold your horses.
Considering all the poor quality that we get all the time:
"If ain't broken don't fix it". (Hear that, Microsoft).
i have accumulated many books.
