No, and personally it wouldn't make a difference if they did.

Have Jehovah's Witnesses Become Boring?
by David_Jay inokay, that new video about 1975 has got people talking, and yes, the child abuse cases will always require us to remain vigilant...but after my having left in the late 1980s/early 1990s, it seems all the real "exciting" stuff is gone.
when i left the witnesses were still preaching that the "generation that was old enough to understand the events of 1914" will not pass away before armageddon comes.
no blood cards were our badges (not that stupid jw logo) and that card meant what it said, "no blood"!

Today the current Governing Body has turned the spotlight upon themselves. They've done away with the in-depth teachings, and have become a clown show of denial, covering up this and that, making excuses for the past, burying yesterday and turning the current Witnesses into boring ignoramuses.
My opinion is that they are no longer depending upon their people. They now have a real estate business that is what's really making them money, so all the efforts and resources that they used to dedicate to make money through their people free selling their literature are no longer profitable and therefore, no longer the focus.
They have no interest in their people. Now they have a better way of making money, so their religious crap is secondary. They know that due to the way people read (or don't) and the way people are more aware of who/how they are, they know well that their old model has been rendered obsolete.

Is the Jehovah's Witnesses religion based upon False Prophesy ?
by Finkelstein inthis is probably the most qualitatively focused question that gets examined and investigated concerning the jws religion in a intent to derive an honest and correct answer to .
my opinion based from facts derived from evaluating the jws's doctrines and teachings compared to the teaching within the bible itself is outstandingly yes.
the probable reason for this is really not too hard to accept once its reflectively realized that the core operation of the jws is to publicly distribute the literature the wts's publishes.. doctrines were created and proliferated toward that agenda as they still are to this day.. the imposing fear of the soon to come armageddon, the supposed " this generation " , the said to come persecution of the jws because of the "end times" are all connecting adjectives that created a phobia or psychosis of fear that the wts uses and exploits to spur on the continuing proliferation and distribution of its own published works.. the unfortunate prevailing circumstances is that the wts creates a state of mental imbalance indoctrinated into people's consciousness who become strongly attached to this organization to their own peril and harm.. some have been so mentally wrapped up in this organization in their thinking consciousness and social attachment they couldn't resolve that engagement toward freeing themselves and their only resolve was to take their own life.. yes unfortunately suicide is closely related to the jws organization and disgustingly the wts leaders have used these suicides as vehicles of exploitation of see what happens when we leave the organization, again the element of fear is further exploited .

I'm subscribed to the channel of the third video you posted.
I actually love discussing that story with homophobes who seem to think that such ridiculous story is proof that their god disapproves homosexuality. All I do is asking them when do they plan to get their own daughters pregnant.
I'm sure form that point you know where I go.

Tattoos In the Kingdom?
by Cold Steel inwith tattoos becoming ever more popular in today's culture, i couldn't help but wonder what happens when people with ostentatious tattoos seek baptism?
are they admitted?
many don't have the money to have them removed, yet i can't imagine they'd be allowed to do pioneer work.

It all depends where you live...
I echo that. In the early 2000s when in USA Christianity wanted to be cool, they started showing people with tattoos in church as a way of saying that it was ok. With the JWs and in certain cultures, they may take a different approach.

by CitizenofEarth inhello there.. tried to bring this up with my family.

What do you think it will be?
Way back when I was a JW, I answered that question stating that the way their god thinks is pretty much laid out in the bible, so I figured it will be the same "thou shall not..." that you find there.
Of course, now to me it's all garbage of the worst kind, so who knows, who cares. None of what they can come up with matters at all (in terms of logic or knowledge; in terms of the decisions that they choose to make based on that crap, that's a different thing).

Elders as Shepherd and teachers
by Rattigan350 inafter the meeting this week and the song and parts about elders, something occurred to me.
the elders don't teach as shepherds.. when nathan confronted david.
he didn't make an accusation stating that jehovah informed him of what david did.

The elders don't teach as shepherds.
Those people have no leadership skills, no education background, some don't even have basic people skills, few have some higher education, and they are to talk and act exactly as they are told.
What could they possibly teach to anyone, that is, what valuable thing could they teach to anyone?

Apposers Dismythed and my published comment.
by Thisismein1972 inhttp://dismythed.blogspot.com.mt/2012/06/are-jehovahs-witnesses-destructive-cult.html.
above is the link to this blog that is fuelled with so much hatred it's unreal.
i commented on this bloggers posts, and told this bloggers how distasteful this bloggers posts are, i never expected it to go public, as this blogger will only post what he/she thinks os acceptable.. this blogger has asked me to show evidence of his/her hatred, only for this blogger to use the age old psychological trick of projecting onto the accusers.

I am with David_Jay. I'm not sure why people simply make the assumption that everything in the internet is posted by sane, rational or educated people. Engaging in attempts against them is just futile and unnecessary, not to mention that standard already tired (yet always reliable) free speech argument.
