Well, for now, my best guess is that you are young and healthy, so no need to worry about that (stay healthy, though). As for the rest, remember that you are not responsible for any harmful actions and decision of the adults that surround you make for themselves, even if they can still make decisions for you, it is not your obligation to be the adult.

Will they drink the Kool Aid?
by Hecce inas you know the question regarding the “kool aid” is related to the tragic events at guyana and jim jones.
blind obedience and faith in this man resulted in a massive loss of lives.. sometimes we see the same pattern of blind obedience to the watchtower from the witnesses.
this could be on major items or small details.

Looking at their compliance and their waste of three and half hours of their day, makes me wonder:
How much of the “kool aid” are they willing to drink?
I couldn't tell for sure, but my guess is that you can expect the same reaction than the people in Guyana. It's the exact same effect, only that they are not being requested to kill themselves (yet).

Recent JW Literature Trolley Experience
by Athanasius inthe j ws have set up a literature trolley in one of our local shopping centers.
since the goodwill thrift store at the center has an excellent selection of second hand books, i stop by twice a month and buy a book or two that catches my interest.
as a result i've become friendly with the j ws who mind the trolley.. usually the minders are two 70 something j w ladies.

I also thought it interesting that now not even a quadriplegic JW can escape Watchtower service.
Worst treatment for a human being.
One of the latest videos is horrid. It parades out a woman born with major birth defects (limbs/spine) to guilt trip people into doing more.
What! That's just horrid as you said.

happy people.

I cant start to guess as to the cause and hell I am not asking either but I am sure getting sick of it.
Hello, zeb. In my family there were arguments and raging rants when we weren't in the KH at home, on our way to the KH, and on our way back from the KH. If my mother wasn't picking up a fight with my father, or my father wasn't ranting about the other elders, there were plenty of excuses for them always being bitter, angry and violent.
Yes, I know well that JWs are not really happy people.

I'm starting a Counter-Watchtower magazine
by Counter-Watchtower inim starting a counter-watchtower magazine for everyone to give to their jw friends and family or just to give to those that come to your door.
the first issue is about the history of pyramidology of c.t.
russel and under the start of rutherford along with some other things like pointing out the fact that no one knows the translators of the nwt or writers of the watchtower, "the two very things relied on to teach you".. its writen in such a way to be very repectful but to make the reader think, and hopefully the light come on.

There are quite a lot of posts here about the state of the WT. They are in financial trouble, they changed their business model poorly, and they are certainly not making any money from their printed material anymore.
Furthermore, they have kept the same ridiculous business approach that may have worked way back when they started, but for some bizarre reason, insist in maintaining. Examples:
- Unlike most-to-all other groups (religious and non-religious), the WT has this ridiculous archaic idea/model of making a lot of money out of people who they themselves discourage from making money. In the past, when in USA people could still make a living from unskilled labor or from some simple trade, that may have worked. Not so today. Yet, they still insist in having their people live with the minimum necessary. That's quite different from what other institutions (some of which even offer scholarships) do. To other institutions, their people are their biggest investment and asset. "It's OK to be a Doctor in my church, especially since I impose you give 10% of your gross income to it"; that's a better model than the ridiculous "Don't study, don't make money and it's ok to contribute when/if you can since Jehovah will provide" model.
- When it comes to the WT reputation, it keeps crumbling. Constantly there are not only new lawsuits against the WT, congregations or JWs directly, but people are a lot more aware of the ones that have happened in the past. Lawsuits is only one of the many ways in which their reputation is crumbling. There are now quite a lot of ex-JWs out there, that they just cannot silence. There's no way that they can continue applying mental patches to people, especially those who start listening to them. And now with the ease of communication that technology brings, people can very easily get the full/better story and many sides of things that people and the media say about them, so they can make better informed decisions. Speaking of technology...
- They are just horrible at managing technology. Their approach to the Internet alone has proven to be disastrous, again, trying to apply the same nonsense they tried with radio way back when, with TV way back when, with CB radio way back when. Those idiots just don't learn their lesson. If you look at the people who compose the head of that organization, you can see how technology dumb they are, that in combination with them attempting at making every single decision to suit them and their best interest, which seems to be obsessive around controlling the lives of their followers. That's how they end up mismanaging technology and advances.
- Another idiotic approach has to do with their insane neglect and mistreatment of children. They do not consider children for anything they do, including the things that they talk about (and how) in their meetings and literature. Just look at their "Book of Bible Stories". Why does that matter? Because children grow traumatized and just leave as soon as they can.
If you notice, I have not mention one single thing that has to do with anything that they teach in terms of doctrine, prophecy, the Bible, nothing. That's why I think that countering what they preach and teach is a waste of time. They themselves are doing quite a good job at looking bad and sinking.
Why not using the time to help people who have been traumatized by them with resources to help them instead?

-My 9 Part Podcast This JW Life & Something For Tomorrow-
by dubstepped infor those that don't know, i recently did a podcast series called this jw life outlining my life before, during, and after the cult.
i made it with outsiders in mind so that anyone could understand what life as one of jehovah's witnesses is like and what it does to people.
i posted about it as each episode came out, but i know that new people will see this and hope that it might help more people as time goes by, so i will post about it every so often to reach out to those that can find help processing their lives or that want to help outsiders to understand what it was like in one cohesive story.. tomorrow i will release episode 2 of my new podcast called “shunned”.

does jw org have goons they send after ppl to threaten them?
or to inflict violence on?

Does JW Org Have Goons Like Scientology?
No. They have goons like the JW Org.
Counter-Watchtower, again, you seem to keep trying to use only reasoning and logic to answer the questions that you pose. Look at the bigger picture.

Can you sue a False Prophet
by maccauk inits a serious question but we all know that thousands even millions have been misled, brainwashed or deluded into thinking the end of the world is coming by false teachers and prophets.
many people gave up family, careers, time, enjoyment of life etc etc only to be disappointed time and time again.they are responsible for pain, suffering, and manipulation.
this goes to many denominations.

...and? They do so voluntarily and legally agree to do so.
