  Just been phoned by "worldly" friends - Straight and Gay to tell me they have seen the video and that its going Viral - I am in South Africa - \

  We probably have of the most liberal Constitutions and stances on LGBT affairs - Even one of the Constitutional Court Judges is openly Gay -

  Our human rights organisations would probably classify this as discriminatory - maybe even hate speech ??

  please i want to read about experiences of those in this forum regarding those who have worked with golden neo life international company (gnld).

  i was searching for job and a man saw me and asked me whether i can do a job that would take me from two years to five years.

  so i said yes to him; and he took me to a company called gnld.

  I avoided using the term Pyramid Scheme but as LisaRose says - it pretty much is !

  If you take a sheet of paper and do the basic math of how the concept is supposed to work - by the time you reach only a few levels in your "downline" you will have signed up millions of people ! But ........not in reality !

  Its a Multilevel Marketing company - My wife joined about 25 years ago but never made any real money - It runs on a model that does resemble the JW model of recruiting ! You join - usually via a presentation session after having been talked into going by a "recruiter' - and then you buy product and follow a very refined model of marketing the GNLD way ......"tried and tested" - building your Network by means of "first calls" and "return visits" and lots of use of your resources ! As in JW land you end up with a lot of "product" that you own [like Mags building up on the shelf] If you apply yourself ......"pioneering spirit" you can succeed in building your Downline but as with MLM systems there is that finite critical crossing point !

  Many JW buy into MLM's because it ..... will allow you to spend more time in the preaching work wont it! And so when you have several JW in a congo doing MLM eg Amway/ Herbalife or GNLD you are all trying to recruit your nearest contact base eg relatives and congo members and it all gets very messy! There is only so much product that anyone in the congo can purchase !

  And the founder was always a someone who had this "enlightening moment in life" - Like Jerry Brassfield of GNLD - rather like members of charismatic groups who have that big meeting moment with Christ -

  Herewith a direct quote from the NEOLIFE Homepage - it reads like a Charismatics testimony:

  So look into it very very carefully ! You may be paying out a lot of money for products [which probably have value - eg they have to pass FDA criteria ] but if you looked at the individual ingredients etc in the products you will find you can get similar elsewhere at much cheaper prices .

  What was your first public bible reading? And when?

  i perfectly remember that, rehearsing with mom, trying to read with enough emphasis and in a proper tone.

  i was 5 years old, back then in 1996 i think, and the portion was james 5:1-13.... i found today that i still know the first verses by heart!!!

  it's actually a cherished memory for me, i came to memorize those because mom had me starting the reading all over again until i got to read it properly... and in time!!!

  1972 - While on Unassigned Territory in a little country town - We had hired the town hall for the meetings as the turnout was so well supported [Pre 1975] and to be very frank it was a wonderful long weekend away -

  My School counsellor at that meeting and I became life time friends due to having a lot of secular interests in common eg Jazz Music and Electronics and high-quality audio systems. [ I still play vinyl] - It will remain etched in my book of Life and as with yourself, I can recite the entire chapter - Of course now at 60 the passage has much more relevance ! lol

  It was his friendship and counselling manner [he is a brilliant teacher / lecturer] that inspired me to pursue the my school assignments very seriously and after 15 years as the TMS Overseer, my experience gained has enabled me to now earn a professional living from that experience. So it is one thing I can say I gained from my 50 years in the cult !

  we know all about the rc and monica applewhite for jeehoober's sake, so why in the hell can't we find out who is behind the rebranding?

  What if [and you don't know this] he himself did not see himself as the Celebrity JW ? Maybe somewhere in his humanness he really was fighting his own demons? He too was just a victim of victims - maybe he desired an escape ?
