the town of ramapo will be accepting public comment on the proposed new world headquarters of jehovah’s witnesses audio/video production center now that the deis (draft environmental impact statement) is complete.
It will be more and more a virtual religion.

the thread about old timers got me thinking about trends i see with the watchtower.

when i joined the religion in 1973 it was dynamic, even the small congregation i attended sent out three or four pioneers.

I have to say that the Henschel presidency at first got me to high expetations. Change would come. And some things did change. The blood fractions, voting allowed in theory, the sheep and the goats. The JW media office, Jim Pelechia and Jolene Chu who did a lot with history of ww2.
Wrebel, the German JW at Selters with the historical research.
And then, all went silent when Henschel died.
I remember the 90's were years we hoped for change that did not came.
And now we have the GB clowns presenting the jw media channel.

i also was intrigued by the russellites and the break away sects that formed before and after charles taze russell.
i can only imagine what the bible students were thinking when rutherford became the next watchtower president..
The green Publisher book in the 90's made me investigate early jw history.

Yesterday I was thinking about the old days, hourglas, xjw.com and the old guys like Ray and Jim Penton, Dykstra and many others who shared their story's with text only websites in the 90's.
Oh it was a shock to read all those information and then came the many changes made by the 90's GB about this generation, the sheeps and goats and so many other doctrine.
What a time of was and it was a strugle of fear and loss, it made our mind free.
