Lamallcool, yes the september broadcasting on jw.org
He said so much more about money.
Main argument is "Jehovah wants your money".

now, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.
it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.
with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.
@DoC, you are right. It is what it is.

@slimboyfat
For me it was a personal experience that I never expected to go through.
That time there was more change, the blood fractions, the involvement with elections, the sheep and goats, and the introduction of jw-media.org and the WW2 history departement.
James Pallechia, Jolene Chu, J.R. Brown, to name some.
Crazy times!

What I hear is that under JW's, these doctrines are not longer talked about.
No issue anymore, they do only small talk these days.

I just read the november 1, 1995 magazine and read the article including questions from readers.
Remembering how they blamed indivuals believing and speculating about time frames, building a firewall for the organization.
(Later on Splane made a new timeframe, The Fred Franz lifetime parameter.)
In 1995, I, 4th generation member, became cynical, somehow depressive and started thinking, leading to higher education. Now, 20 years later i'm happy about that.
Jw wife and children are now free too.
It took a lot of pain and headache, all my dna was shaken and stirred.
We had discussions, read Ray Franz and others, and then came the internet, Hourglass2, xjw.com and jwd. Our own watchtower Berlin Wall came down.
And then came 9/11.

With the change my doubts started. With some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore. Also because of the jw writers accused the jw rank and file of believing it and speculate.
It was a difficult time with fear, a lack of trust and headache while visiting the kingdom hall.
Did you had this trilling experience also?

in the latest jw broadcast, anthony morris the turd gives a talk about donations.
to camouflage this, he starts and ends the talk by saying that isn't actually what he's doing.
first he starts with the usual disclaimer, 'wt has never begged for money like christendom and we never will', you know the drill.
Some remember the Eastern Europe Fund?

A shame. It's all about money.
