2021 Annual Meeting: just more self-exaltation

the annual meeting from last fall had a live audience again this time and a recording of it makes up the january monthly program.

jesus said "everyone who exalts himself will be humbled", and the gb as usual waste no time in exalting themselves over the course of the annual meeting.

during splaine's talk, he says i guess what he thinks is a profound part of the talk outline, and then says "i'll repeat that", and reads it again.

well now they went ahead and made a logo for it.. .

oh brother 🤣 i wonder if this'll be part of the programming on jw studios' paid streaming service 😉.

New year's predictions for watchtower.

so might as well start now.

my new year's prediction for watchtower would be a big big sell out of kingdom hall's.

@slimboy we are in Holland now in total lockdown because of omicron.

I think not much change will come for Watchtower in 2022.

The rank and file are in last of the last day mode.

And will get disapointed in a few year because nothing happened.

maybe people could share christmas music or clips to get us all in the mood.

you men, who were brothers in the congregation and you were dating sisters in the congregation, did you find that they cared more about how you made them look in the congregation than they cared about you?.

you women, who were sisters in the congregation and you were dating brothers in the congregation, were you more concerned about how he affected your status & how you were viewed in the congregation, than you cared about him?.

Witfh a lot of luck I got one of the best girls I could get, in the jw bubble.

I was 28, she was 26. A good age to make this choice.

I was MS, from a good standing jw family.

Because i'm more the Huge Grant version of Notting Hill the status must have played some role, but more that I was different at time, thinking about fading then! No words about pionering, no talk about the organization. I was building a house.

2020’s are already a Train Wreck for JW ORG

as the title says, we are nearly at the end of the 2nd year of the 2020’s, and already jw org is not only a car crash, but an absolute train wreck.. i’ve watched the annual meeting 2021 already, and it seems the gb are in fighting, morris openly disagreeing with lett, that is massive, and it’s something that has largely not been commented on by this community.

covid-19 is not going anywhere, any trial meetings will surely be shut down, now omicron is doing the rounds.. it looks highly likely we will see a second negative growth year.

“young ones” are waking up by the masses.

AM III speech at anual meeting 2021

just downloaded and watched the am iii speech about expetations about the end.. all i think it is ment to temper the high expetations that the rank and file have build up because of the pandemic.. most jw think that the big end will come now.. gb must be anticipating the anti climax that will come.. it is a very rare speech, i can say, and am iii was in a realistic mood, the audience was laughing and he was thinking "you are idiots", so it seems to me.. g..
