How more you know, how more you realise you don't know.
The same with your state of mind. How more you realise, you see that you can not always be happy.
Always happy says a lot about someone. It is not realistic, it's fake.
So, since being out of jw.org, i'm happy about many aspects of life, and less happy about some other subject. And try to grow, make choices, and learn from things that went wrong.
Life is that what goes unexpected.

elder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).
he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.
co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.
Many elderly jw's don't attend anymore. The oldtimers see no reason.
The conventions have the seize of a circuit now with no old friends to find.
So what is better then stream in the comfort of the living room.

inspired by the "whats the reason you think jw's are in decline" thread.
my belief is that almost all the growth, at least in the western world is due to jw's having kids.
i was a 4th generation jw from birth till about age 20, so the timeframe i can comment on would be my teen years.
Woke up due to generation change, in 1995 and left for good in 2008.
