Pulling rank, and saying: "Because I'm God", doesn't cut it.
So you are God! I have been waiting to meet you.
I may have a few questions to ask you.
pulling rank, and saying: "because i'm god", doesn't cut it.. .
it doesn't cut it to say: "it's your fault.
", because you haven't proved that.. if it was my own individual "fault", then why is it everyone on planet earth hasn't figured that out?.

i have to say that i love music!
i love 60s to present r &b, soul, funk and many top 40 songs.
i think that even if i'm tired or down a bit, music picks me up!.
Red wine!
i find it offensive that gubberningbody can claim that we cannot be permanently injured by the borg, or what our parents do to us to train us in their ways.. is he claiming that we are to blame if we cannot heal?.
go to india.. families of professional beggars deliberately break the limbs of their children so they are deformed.. dont tell me that the victm here cannot blame the parents.... psychological damage can be every bit as far reaching - and inflicted by parents, for cult reasons.. we have heard testimony from so many here, whose minds have been whisked shaken squeazed and violated by the witchtower religion.. i am still getting over mine.
it is not helped by th"revisionist memory" that dubs share.. "they never said anything about 1975" (my mother said that) "were not those who left school without a high school diploma being presumptuous that jehovah would provide for them?
If people cannot be permanently injured by the Borg, or what their parents do to them, then I need an explanation.
I need to know what it was that drew the largest number of of screwed up nutters in the world to this ex-JW board?
Hail Caesar and all reincarnated gladiators. May your gods go with you and your enemies be smitten.
all the earthquakes, mudslides, and now volcanic ash in the sky of europe grounding air-travel.. the end is nigh!.
jeff.
Massive volcanic and earthquake activity took place during the millions of years that earth took to cool enough to form a crust which life could exist on.
If such activity is a warning of the end, it would seem that the end came before the beginning.
This is entirely possible; a feat performed by Jehovah's Witnessed every day as they stand on their heads to justify their belief that the earth came into being just 49,000 years ago.
Given their absurd take on time, against all scientific evidence, anything they say about timing must be taken with a pinch of volcanic sulphur.
jws are obsessed with demons.
do you have any evidence spirits exist?
what about magic?
Where the hell did you get that picture of my JW mother-in-law?
disclaimer - i have left behind all the jw and other religious speculation on this and am now a non-religious scientific thinker on the subject.. so, for me - earth is the planet we live on.
both earth and all of us have a finite lifetime - and it is up to us now what we do with both.. but, as a question for exjws like myself: much is made in the jw theology of an eternal "paradise" earth.
putting aside how much scientific nonsense that may be:.
The Bible doesn't actually and specifically teach anything. What was specific in the old testament is rescinded in the new testament.
The things that appear to be specific to the non-believer throughout the Bible, are dismissed by believers if they are inconvenient or embarrassingly, do not support their brand of Christianity.
So you see, JWwoods - Paradise is likely to remain, forever beyond your reach whether in heaven or on earth. Why not, take the cash in hand and waive the rest
i'm painfully curious on this subject.. when you have devoted your entire life, your entire social circle, everything you know......to this religion....when you fade away, how did you make new friends?
how did you replace all those people you thought were your friends?.
on top of fading away....... i lost a 'relationship' with a 'sister' due to not wanting to continue as a jw.
How did you replace all those people you THOUGHT were your friends?
The answer is you don't - not immediately.
It take time and patience and is not without pain. The instant friendship that comes from being part of a cult is not the same as real friendship. Even real friendships are in some way conditional.
You have to be prepared to be alone while you adjust to become the new you. In time you will attract friends of a like mind. The more comfortable you are with your own company the more other people will be comfortable with you. Should you have a special interest, then joining a club can be helpful. There you will meet people who share your interest and some will become friends.
As I have said, learning to be comfortable with yourself and being prepared to do things alone, without panicking, makes you stronger and more independent. Important after the weakening effect of being a JW and the dependence that membership demands.
is "paradise" going to be in heaven or in earth?.
is it even mentioned in the bible?.
please explain, along with scriptures to back it up.
Well if Jesus is the Kingdom and God as well - and God is everywhere - then Paradise must be everywhere.
We are all in Paradise already but failed to notice due to lack of faith. Oops!
if scientology has narcanon, and it has gotten people off drugs (although that 85% sucess rate they say they have is suspect), and becoming a jw sorta forces you into line, would it make sense to leave someone in if they were helping them?
if you knew somebody was a drunk, sex addict, drug addict, what have you, and they were studying, and it appeared that they were actually being helped (albeit by twisted means) would you leave them be?
like, if uncle jim was a fall down drunk that ran around on his wife, then someone introduced him to the wts, and it all stopped, would you still try and expose the cult even if they were actually helping and it was working?.
You are being too generous.

Psacramento: To Extreme Terry, too black and white.
Reading your posts, I bet if you had a chess board, the squares would be light and dark grey, depending on what light you looked at them in.
