  How Much is Shunning Worth?

  my jw niece called me last night on the phone.

  she is having a pampered chef party (for those of you who don't know what these are, it's like a tupperware party except they cook a meal and sell the cooking stuff).

  it is going to be at my jw sister's house and all the dubs will be there....including my "best" friend who ratted me out to my sister regarding us celebrating christmas last year.. i am not invited....but my niece would like me to buy some stuff and to make up for shunning me she is offering to give me her hostess discount....woohoo huh?.

  My First Rock Concert....

  now in my 40's i went to my first and most probably last rock concert last night.

  i took the wife and kids (if you can still call them that with the youngest taller than me) to see the "motor city madman....ted nugent.

  i guess that i am just not the rock and roll type.

  The thing that is so goddamn funny about this, is that it is all true. I saw Nuge last year in Lansing, where he strolled out on stage riding an enourmous Buffalo, shreiking about Jesse Jackson, Bin Laden, Janet Reno, and some guys hat, to a mulleted, bucktoothed, camoflauged audience all wearing nasty Biker T shirts and leather.

  Did I go to hear Cat Scratch Fever? Nope! I went to see the most jacked-up group of people I will ever lay my eyes on. It was a riot.

  "you know people told me i should'nt correct nobody unless i was god(father), but hey i know i'm not god, peter, christ, muhammad, noah, etc,, but i still like correcting people, cause i do infact have the right to do that.

  therefore do you understand that nobody is suppose to celebrate birthdays?

  and the good news is that "it's not a witness teaching*, it's a bible teaching... now if you are a atheist you have the right to do whatever, commit fornication, adultery, break the father lawz, you know do all kinds of ungodly things(that i hate).... but if you still say from your tongue that you love god & the messiah with all thy heart, hahaha then you are a liar!

  i stumbled upon this site because i was curious to see what the jehovah's witnesses have to say about september 11th and instead i've been laughing at the top ten's and such.

  Cards/Notes for Shunned Father

  we met lawrence (shunned father) last month in canada and one thing that hit us was how 'alone' he was now that the wts and ther zealots have turned against him.

  i'm sure he could use some support right now and to know that he isn't on his own even though his local support may be a bit light.. if anyone in the uk would like to send lawrence a card or note then you are welcome to send it to us and we will forward them on to him.

  just email me or angharad ([email protected]) and we will send you our address.. anyone from other countries is welcome to do this as well but it will probably take a bit longer.

  i am fortunate enough to say "no.

  " i tried very hard to get people to come to meetings and assemblies...and during it all i was bored out of my mind and had a voice in my heart keep saying "what if what you think is the 'truth' is not really the "truth" and you stand before the throne to be judged?

  would these people take your place and die for you because you believed in them and not jah?

  last night, i returned from the chess club with my son to find my wife on the phone.

  apparently the congregation secretary had phoned to get our time.

  not wanting to disappoint him, she put us both down for two hours.. now, none of us have stepped foot in a kingdom hall since april 10, and we haven't been out in service since march/01.

  i would like to hear from anyone who subscribes to my believe in creation as the bible states, however when jehovah realized that earthly man was a complete screw up, and that he would eventually turn out this way, he immediatly started all over again 5000 light years away, and the second time around he's got it right.. somewhere in the universe there is a perfect race of people created in gods image enjoying what the dubs think is going to happen to them lol.. what do you all think?
