  1969 bound vol set

  so i picked up a 1969 bound vol set of awake and tower for 9 bucks.

  cheap.

  the away has some strange articles in it about the end being so close the graduating kids will never need to worry about retirement ect.

  very interesting, if very sad, youtube video by a young woman who grew up in a jw household.. i wonder how many more jw kids grew up in similar circumstances to this poor young lady?.

  why is it that born-in jw children/teens who are not unbaptized publishers allowed to participate in the preaching work, but new people can't?

  Only ‘approved’ people can go preaching. They have to prove they are living a JW approved life before they let them go door to door. Can’t allow someone to go who is living in sin, or celebrating holidays or something

  This girl (woman) is a survivor!, I was going to start a thread about her YouTube channel.

  she has been through hell, the JJw’s made it worse. Her father is in prison for abusing her and her sister. Of course, he was an elder. Very disfinctional family, much more to her story.
