I dressed very nicely, very well groomed, and the elders had a problem with me. They couldn’t specify WHAT was wrong with me, but something was. Ha ! I just gave them a woody and they didn’t know what to do. Asshats, all of them.

What JW Subjects Interest You The Most On This Site? What Doesn’t??

i like subjects that delve into the history of the religion and proofs that the witnesses are not the true religion.

i’m not so much into apologists saying we need to go to meetings, especially if the poster looks like a scammer trying to get ex jws going.

what subjects interest you ?

I like to read about goofy things witnesses have done, or said. Also, experiences with elders. I also am watching (and hoping) to see the Tower fall.

Anyone here take any chance you get to tell others how dangers the cult is?

i know i have made some uncomfortable at times and others have thanked me for telling them about the cult because some family member is one and they thought it was a bad cult but did not know details.

personally i take every chance i get to tell others about the cult.

I have. Once, I was voting in a small local election. The people at the polling place thanked me for voting, since turnout was small. I told them why voting was important to me, they asked many questions. One man had been getting called on by witnesses, he thought they were nice people. I gave him an earful. I had him bring up jwfacts.com on his phone. I told him to show them this website next time they came by and he said he would.

Also, I noticed my (Hindu) next door neighbors were getting called. I went over there and asked him about it, he said he took the magazines to be polite, and to get rid of them, but they keep coming by and bringing more literature. I asked him if he was interested in becoming a Christian, he said no. So, I showed him the JW facts website and told him to bring that up next time they came by. He said he would. I haven’t seen them since. 😀

When was your last Kingdom Hall meeting?

i stopped going to kingdom hall meetings about nine years ago.

i was fading for the longest time, refused to go out in field service, dropped out of the ministry school talks, no longer answered at the watchtower study, arrived at the meetings the last second, and left as soon as possible.

i couldn't take attending the meetings any longer.

1983 was my last meeting, never anything, not even the memorial, since. 😀
