  the last 2 1/2 years have been extremely stressful.

  while the rest of the world was dealing with covid, i was also dealing with cancer.

  in fact it seems none of my doctors knew about it.

  Thank you, JW gone bad. You know what scares me about this? What if they tell all the US witnesses to sell their homes, cash in everything, and come to NY in a camper. Once they arrive, they will be told to turn over all their cash, etc. to the WT society, because that will bring on Armageddon. Don’t put it past them!

  Could this be a JW media venture?

  i'm wondering if this is another step in wt branching out into attempting to profit through media production.

  last year they already registered their hollywood style company "jw studios" as an llc, unlike their other corporations which are non-profit.. ( more information on that here: https://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/5740817149853696/jw-studios-llc-commercial-purposes ).

  now, i see this video of a wt spokesman.

  Maybe future offerings for ‘homeschooling’ the kids to further trap them in? Keep them out of the public schools, don’t want to rub shoulders with those ‘worldly’ kids.

  recently, in the past few months, and this only applies to in dubs who might have taken note, the watchtower study edition made a change.

  it mentioned the “warning work” where dubs are going to march around and proclaim everyone is going to die.. anyway, this article said it was now only a possibility, not a sure thing.. i can’t find it.

  did watchtology change it already?.

  I gave a work friend a sticker I got from Diane Gholson. The sticker said, “No Visits from Jehovah’s Witnesses, please”. After a month or so, she showed me a handwritten message left in her door. It read, “ You people are going to DIE REAL SOON, if you don’t change your ways.” She did die, of a heart attack. These people are so loving.

  so i asked her, would you continue to invest in a company that promises outrageous dividends but never delivers?

  Fooled no more, when these elderly ones have doubts but don’t want to leave, that’s called “sunk cost fallacy.” My mom has it, too. So sad. And, LHG, you are right about these scammers targeting seniors, you are so right. Thru my employment, I knew of a lady in her nineties, who was sending money to political people. Her son put a stop to her getting these mailed solicitations. So, they began to call her, and even offered to pick her up, and drive her to the bank, so she could make a donation. What nerve! But her son hired a caregiver, who was instructed by him to get rid of these charlatans.

  I used to have a fantasy…if I was ever disfellowshipped, I would sit in the hall, in the front row. After the announcement, I would stand up and yell out, “ Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, I am free at last.” Then I would hold up my middle finger to everyone, and finish off with “And I won’t be back.” But alas, I am a fader, never disfellowshipped. 👍🏻
