Assembly Question

i just recently attended a circuit assembly and they asked that you did not share any video with anyone and i’m just wondering why this is .

I wish I had video of the one I was at in 1976, Fred Franz shaking is finger at the audience, and saying, “YOU wanted something to happen in 1975, that’s why nothing happened.” Blaming the rank and file. I was 16 then, thinking what a liar and douchbag he was.

it's a bit long lol.

however i still loved jeremy but because he wasn’t a witness i knew i could never be with him and have my family.

Do any of you born into the cult feel like your mental growth was stunted?

being born in to me was devastating.

when you are a child born in and raised with the they vs us and they are evil and worldly and going to die.

not allowed to form relationships with anyone not one of you.

I was absolutely damaged by this cult, I suffered as a child with nightmares, sleepwalking, stuttering ( due to one major JW cause) the stuttering came upon me from a shock, I had hives which the Dr. said was nerves. I didn’t fully mature til I was almost 30. I know this is due to being raised JW and believing it was the”truth.” I was a very scared, nervous child, I never got to do the normal things all middle class American children do. I vowed when I was quite young to never bring a child into the world if I had to raise the child as a witness. And I didn’t, my daughter came when I was 32 years old.

i was also bullied in school due to being a JW

Someone close to me became pregnant out of wedlock, the elders treated her so horribly, she miscarried. She said her family was going to sue, but they chickened out.😞

Watchtower volunteer injuries

i was recently talking with a zealous 'sister' who for years was assigned to use a certain chemical while taking care of wt property, only to have it irreparably damage her immune system partly because she wasn't trained properly.

she said there was a potential lawsuit but she didn't want to bring reproach on jehovah's organization.

has anybody else heard of similar situations, of people being hurt or injured in service to the org, maybe even because of them, and taking the loss so the org wouldn't look bad?.
