  thanks petra and atlantis for sending the latest letter regarding the watchtowers plan for a worldwide campaign in november this year.

  i am wondering what they are planning to achieve from this campaign, particularly their focus on sending the watchtower 2020 no.

  2, titled "what is god's kingdom" to politicians, governments (and tribal leaders) around the world.. it would appear that this is their answer to governments who have put them in the spot light for their bad policies, particularly their handling of child abuse.

  What Is The Position Of Witnesses For People Who Are Inactive And Don’t Want To Be Bothered By Anyone?

  i used to have some close friends simply pay me a friendly visit or call to see how i was doing.. i am curious as to whether or not the society instructed witnesses to no longer check on inactive ones and treat them as marked or disfellowshipped..

  I’ve been out 35 years, no one has contacted me. I think I’m free and clear. The funny part is, a couple of years ago, I was out on the street, 2 smiling men approached me to hand me a memorial invitation. I handed it back, and said, “No thanks, I walked away from this religion over 30 years ago.” You should have seen their faces drop. The funny part is that they were doing street work, but after me, they literally jumped into their car and sped off. Lol

  i spent the night at my best friends house back in 72, i was 13. he had a stack of sears and penny's catalog's stashed under his bed.

  in them he had the women's under wear pages all marked!!

  Witness reaching out to me after 20+ years...

  a few weeks ago; a witness couple from the midwest reached out to me after 25+ years.

  they said they were doing a letter writing campaign and decided to reach out to me… they called on my personal cell phone, which was a little surprising.

  a few days ago, a couple that i knew from over 40 years ago, sent me a text, again to my personal cell phone.. i assume that they just googled my name to get the personal info.

  Sometimes I wonder who of my old JW friends are in, and which are out. I’m not sure if they have even tried to contact me, because I have a different last name than the one I had when I left. Just got back from a 5 day visit to see my mom. She’s the same (sigh).

  to be born a woman is a great disadvantage in many parts of the world and much more if she is part of a destructive sect like the jehovah’s witnesses where she is submitted to the “theocratic order” being the base that sustains the corporate pyramid, displaying submission at all times before male authority.

  those of us that have been part of this cult can verify that the woman has to carry out a series of practices that for the rest of society is somewhat incomprehensible.

  i’d like to draw your attention to the act of head covering, if for any reason a woman has to pray in public while a male is present, who is not available to lead the prayer, she must cover her head because she wouldn’t be respecting the arrangement of authority if she didn’t.

  i see ken flodine spelling saying in the new zoom assembly that you should meditate.

  when i was in the cult that was a huge no no.

  Are You One of the People Considered "Essential" ???

  i keep hearing all of the things about "essential" people in this convid-19 virus thing.. well, i woke up this morning, did my morning poop, and just felt like i am essential.

  i walked around my house while my wife was still sleeping, did the alexa thing to hear the daily text.

  it made me feel good.
