  Google Street view: Will I get disfellowshipped?

  yesterday, while having a smoke outside my house, i saw the google street view car drive by.

  so here i am, wondering when this picture will make it to the web and when a jw sees it.

  even if they blur the face, i bet it will be really easy to make out who's smokin' outside.

  You are 99% safe from the elders. My boyfriend at the time had a McDonalds straw in his mouth before our meeting for field service. One of the nosy busybodies accused him of smoking. Assholes.

  What is your status (as of today) as a Jehovah's Witness?

  1. watchtower
  2. beliefs

  active believer...still attend meetings, go out in field service, believe it's ''the truth''.

  active non-believer... go to meetings and field service to please family... living a double life .

  inactive believer...don't attend meetings but believe it's the truth, one day might go back to kingdom hall.

  I’m number 4, moved to a city about 30 miles away, suddenly stopped attending, never set foot in a KH again, except for grandmas funeral, and my dads.

  i woke up early in life.

  it’s not because i was smarter than my brothers and sisters.

  in fact, reflecting back, i actually don’t know why i didn’t embrace the watchtower teachings?

  Even at age six, I didn’t think I would make it into paradise, because Jehovah would read my heart. In 1975, I turned 16, I thought I’d be dead before 1976. When 1976 came, I told my dad we should leave, because they are false prophets. He said they just “made a mistake.” I told him it was useless to stay in, because I wouldn’t make it into paradise anyway, he said if I just do what’s required, and follow all the rules, I would make it. SMH

  Bathing Daily Doesn’t Help The Planet

  the new york times as well as other news agencies are reporting that in order to help save the planet we should limit our daily bathing.

  they say daily bathing really because popular in the 20th century because elites decided to impress and use petroleum based soaps and take advantage of their indoor plumbing.

  a lot of this daily bathing ritual was just for show.

  Athansius, the court case was postponed for 2 weeks, due to the lead prosecutor must quarantine for 2 weeks because he was exposed to someone with Covid-19.

  so, in a couple weeks, the jws move on in their bible-reading slog to the book of deuteronomy.. take a gander at deuteronomy 23:12,13:.

  a private place should be designated for use outside the camp, and there is where you should go.

  13 a peg should be part of your equipment.

  opening up a street-level dialogue with jehovah's witnesses:.

  since this will probably be a one time occurrence, an important objective of any street encounter is to bless jws with doubt about their beloved organization.. after exchanging niceties, you might say something like:.

  I was approached by witnesses while I was getting something out of my truck. (I work outside) 2 grown men were passing out memorial tracts door to door, they came over to me, all smiles and offered me an invitation to the memorial. I said thanks but no thanks, they looked quizzical, so I said, “I walked away from this religion 35 years go, not interested in having anything to do with it.” They literally looked scared, ran to their car, and left the territory completely. Lol

  three of my sisters - there are five of us - were baptized as witnesses.

  one of them has gone from reading voraciously to only reading her textbooks and watchtower publications.

  this does not seem to be unusual among witnesses.
