  God’s wisdom in allowing bearded JWs July 25 Watchtower

  the july 2025 watchtower has a paragraph that claims that it was the superior power and wisdom of jehovah that guided the gb into allowing jws to grow beards.. the study article is ‘can you still learn from basic bible teachings?’ under the subheading ‘jehovah is the creator’ paragraph 7 states-.

  Rules and regulations, I turned 16 in 1975. I got baptized in 1973, because of the teachings that, if you weren’t baptized, and over the age of 10-12 or so, you would be killed at Armageddon. Also, parents, especially my mom, kept pushing me to do it. After January 1st, 1976, I had a conversation with my elder dad. I said they were false prophets, he said they just “made a mistake”. I was really scared, because there were many unanswered questions I had about all of this. I knew I wanted to leave for sure then, but it still took me to the mid 1980’s to get out. So glad I did, unfortunately not without PTSD.

  Witnesses still get in sex trouble in the congregation even bethel

  so i asked a aussie bethelite if the wife swap rumor was true about 2 bethel couples on holidays and he said yes!!

  we had pioneers having sex on there weekend time.

  i had a brother who was having sex with his best friend witness wife are we any different to other people.there is alot of disfellowshiping for this.. on the side note i had one of the sweetest sisters who at work was in charge of finances and had stolen thousands of dollars and was arrested..

  Yes, they DO call police for people stealing money, but not calling police for pedophiles. Doesn’t a thief also “bring reproach on Jehovah’s name”? 🤷‍♀️

  the only reasons i can remember are smoking, sexual immorality and of course, apostasy.

  there must be others but having been out since 1990, i'm drawing a blank.

  i was thinking perhaps serious criminal offenses that result in prison, but then i remembered a brother in my congregation in the 1980's who went to prison.

  is the sunday special talk prior to the memorial just an introduction of a new outline for the sunday public talks?.

  is it an attempt to get the faders back to the meetings?

  Not former, I remember the SNL character, Dana Carvey, playing the church lady! So funny! And Balaamsass, I totally agree with you. I used to walk out of these “special” talks, wondering what was so special about it. Just more BS. 💩
