well im going to be unpopular here.

i am still in jw orginization, in fact i just went to a meeting tonight and even had the privlege of caring microphones.

i'm being set up as an example in the congregation...and guess what else...i dont believe anything!!

in 1st thessalonians 4, paul talks about those who are 'sleeping' as in death and the promise made to them.

Marijuana...should it be legalised?

after talkin in chat tonight....it has got me and a friend talkin about whether marijuana should be legalised.. my view...yes, .

i) who has the right to tell me what to do with my own body?.

ii) alcohol is a legalised drug....each year more deaths occur through alcohol abuse than marijuana usage.. iii) people smoke it anyway and the question is not bein addressed.. iv) it's great to get stoned!!!

The baptism is off.....

told by the elders yesterday that since i'm a official at a sports match on saturdays and i won't quit doing it (they mention it occasionally to me at meetings), that they won't be allowing me to get baptised the next assembly coming up.

it might matter if i was working 5 days a week but at the moment i'm only working 2 days......(i've already racked up 50 hours this month).

i remember a talk a while back with the theme "what prevents you from getting baptised?

Thinkers Wife: "Does this mean you are going to reconsider?" - Nope. Just no gonna quit footy.

Uncle Goose: "You'd have to be out of your mind to think you could be a Jehovah's witness and play aussie rules or any other wordly team sport" - Can't help it.

Mummy: "How is it going with the girl?" - Alright!

Yerusalyim: "Find a real church." - U suggest anything better?

I'm starting to get the feeling that me being knocked back is something to do with my girlfriend.

The Garden of Eden

if one assumes that the bible is true, (not saying that it is) then a really big question arises.. eve was in the garden, minding her own business and a snake decieves her into eating from a tree that god had said not to eat from.. she then goes to adam and says that the snake said it was good to eat so i ate it, you try it.. this just doesnt wash. for starters, the first thing eve would really have said is "adam, come check this out, its a talking snake.".

and even if she didnt, he would have said "what, a talking snake, this i gotta see".

Only women are stupid enough to listen to talking snakes......but then again Adam was stupid enough to follow her.

Does the Watchtower break up famelies?

my word it does.. when i started studying with the witlesses all of my family and inlaws deserted me for following a stupit cult.

my wife divorced me and my children won't talk to me.. that's ok because according to jdubs that proves it's the truth.. as i progressed in "the truth(tm)" all my friends started to abandon me because i was always going to those booring meetings.. when i found someone i liked in "the truth" and started associating with her, some of my witness friends tried to break up the friendship.. ie break up another family before it even starts.. after i married her without getting the elder permission, some of my jdub friends tried to df me, to show how much they loved me.. when they failed to df me some of my witless friends decided to shun me anyway even though the elders pronounced us no guilty.. i should have sued the bastards for slander.

today i'd just give him (the instigator) a good hiding.

I found out that its a big no-no if you hit it off with a JW girl and you do it behind the elders back. As if it's their business.
