Ever ask yourself why a perfect women didn't have to die up there on a cross/stake too? because ALL human life comes from one person, Adam. Eve was a perfect life too, which was lost. It's because it didn't matter. Perfection was dependent on the life giver, which was Adam. Jesus became our life giver with his sacrifice. Eve got her life from Adam -his rib (as the story goes).

Children respect their parents because they got their life from them, women respect men/husbands because it goes back for the respect of that first life giving incident. It's the order of things. It doesn't mean one is less than the other.

People have to get out of this mentality of 1'st 2'nd and 3'rd place as regards whether a person is male or female, black or white, rich or poor. When your talking about humans you are talking about a different level.

God came first because he's the ultimate authority. Jesus came next because he is GOD's appointed authority. Then you have the angels.

For earth you have Adam then Eve, then everybody else, then the animals. Just because a man was left in "charge" so-to-speak doesn't make a woman's role any less vital or less in value.

One of my favorite quotes that have to do with worshipping God is one from Les Miserable. Sir Guilliment says of his nephew Marius' love for Cosette, "If a man wants to worship God, let him love his wife."

Man cannot worship God if he does not love his wife.

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE/EX-JW-A MUST READ!!!!- DEEEEEP

i've always wanted to be a writer, and because of being in the org never got a chance to fulfill my dreams, goals or desires.

now that i'm enrolled in college, english is a requirement and i took english 101 last semester.

in fact, i'm enrolled in the honors program.

maybe you just did a quick-cut-and-paste from an existing doc but more paragraphs -needs white space

and leave off the "In conclusion..." sentence, leave the reader to figure that out. Allow your reader to draw from their own life experiences, to allow their mind to wander, so-to-speak, where it will and where it may to reach a conclusion.

Don't force them into a mold on a way of thinking, because after all, that is one of the points you are trying to make.

do they close up shop for the holidays?.

as jw's we didn't mind having the day off and, judging from the holidays i was out in service as a new jw, most did not use that day to knock on doors.. but what if your boss is a jw and so are the employees, do they get the holiday off?

I often found them to take advantage of JDubs. The biggest one was the way DB apparently does/did it.

They probably knew in the long run they were going to get screwed, thus the delay in estimates.

you sound like one of those cheap bastard JW employers. You "contracted" out so you wouldn't have to pay benefits, holidays, etc.

The poor bastard(s) were left payin' their own taxes and ending up working for peanuts. You find the work and then "hire" it out. I've heard that line once too many times. Then you use your 'loyalty' as a JDub to another JDub to keep him from getting the job themselves.

If I was ever approached by a brother for a job the first thing I always asked was "..would I be an employee of yours, or do you contract it out?"

Depression is a way of life for JW's

the more i studied, the more i got sucked into being a witness, the more depressed i've become.

i don't want to do anything anymore, i mean what is the sense: the end of days is upon us!

the more i became involved with witnesses, the more i felt that i was loosing a part of myself.

one of the reasons why I think that the JDubs may the truth is that they are a stupid lot. -1 Co. 1:18-25. I am not being facetious. I'm serious when I say this.

You know, get all the foolish things together, that just don't make any sense and then, turn the world upside-down with it.

I'm not saying that being stupid is bad. Sometimes I wish I were (to some I am stupid), then I wouldn't be eaten up by all this stress and pressure to win, win, win. My main body of reading material is techinical manuals and reference works. I read 'em like most people read novels. I have so many books (both print and online), that it would put small town libraries to shame. I love books.

First thing I notice, usually, is the library a person has. Of course many JDubs libraries consist of nothing but WTBS material, and little else. I have also noticed "worldly" peoples libraries and they consist of even less.

I don't know if any here have noticed it, but I can count on one hand how many Jdubs I have ever seen in a public library. Too busy confining themselves to only one kind of knowledge source.

Funny happenings at assemblies and meetings

i just remembered this yesterday.. a newly appointed m.s.

was assigned the bathroom detail at a circuit assembly in natick.. well, he naturally asssigned most of the bros to the mens rooms and the sis to the womens room.. well in the women's room they have those "special" items in case of emergencies and the little wax paper bags, i think.. now the trash bags were transparent, pretty much, and the sisters are taking care of throwing these used items in the bags so they could be carried out back to the compacter.

right through down the center of the lunch room.

The time comes to clear out the bathrooms. Well the Bro in charge just lifts the bags up and carries them out into the lunch room on his way to the trash.

He was apparently completely oblivious to the fact that some of these feminine articles were plastered to the sides of the trash bags. It was both disgusting and funny at the same time.

You would have thought that there was some kind of slaughter in the women's room.

My Dad would not sign my younger sister to go into vocational school for hairdressing, because he said, "She was just going to grow up and get married."

She forged his name, and she NEVER married.

I couldn't go to a college prep high school, because my father said I was not going to college anyway. And then when I graduated from the high school I did go to My father insisted that I was still not going to college, anyway. I certainly had the ability, before my mathematics teacher could rattle off a verbal problem I had the answer as soon as he finished. I took an advanced trigonometry in a local state college when I was 16 and passed with flying colors.

I tell you it does real damage to your self esteem. It destroyed me, and does 'til this day. Ask me what 2+2 is and sumtimes I can't answer it.

Trying Not To Peep..

as we now have our central heating boiler installed in our old fireplace, i have been getting more than a little worried as to exactly how santa will come down the chimney so as to leave me with lots of nice prezzies.

its also been complicated getting my prezzy list to him as i normally send this up the chimney about a week before christmas day.. her ladyship came to the rescue and suggested that i pin my prezzy request list to the communal notice board in the dining room, so i took my pen and wrote: .

Tell me to grow up but I read a comic book that touched on this kind of subject. I read this one because it reminds me of what it was like as a child. Santa Claus being true, the doubts, etc.

This issue is selling off Original signed artwork going up for auction on Ebay for the Toys-for-tots program. I'm thinking on making a bid on a particular page that says it all.
