  Printing and No new people at Bethel

  i found this out from my brother-in-law, an elder at bethel.. he says that the wtb&ts has hired outside printing compan(y|ies) to print their bound volumes only.. i do recall when i was up in ri, that a brother worked for a printing and binding company that the wtb&ts hired to print the greatest man covers.. also regarding dumping people at bethel -not true, he says.

  however, they are not accepting any new people.

  for individuals who want to stay they can.

  i asked about something like this about 5 years ago, but could never get a straight answer.

  seems you had to be part of a club.

  whenever i did ask, the person(s) would kind of clam up.. funny, use our money to buy the cars and then they turn around and sell them.

  ok you brits, i have looked this up before, but can't remember where, and only for the "legal" terms.. you have terms/slang for your coinage/bills that i can never seem to remember or get right.. can you list first the real name for denomination (lowest to highest), then the slang terms you use for that denomination, and then the american $ equivalent?.

  what's a quid?

  is it the same thing as a shilling?.

  Funny happenings at assemblies and meetings

  i just remembered this yesterday.. a newly appointed m.s.

  was assigned the bathroom detail at a circuit assembly in natick.. well, he naturally asssigned most of the bros to the mens rooms and the sis to the womens room.. well in the women's room they have those "special" items in case of emergencies and the little wax paper bags, i think.. now the trash bags were transparent, pretty much, and the sisters are taking care of throwing these used items in the bags so they could be carried out back to the compacter.

  right through down the center of the lunch room.

  i must say that the teaching of the generation has ultimately floored me.

  it has affected me much more deeply than any other doctrinal teaching that the wtbs has presented.

  i think the blood fractions once i delve into it may affect me equally.

  the best movies i have ever seen are... .

  cinema paradiso - the whole thing is just perfect.. close encounters of the third kind.

  although, i don't believe in "aliens" i love the fantasy.. jaws -scared me out of the water from diving, we went at night to catch lobster.
