13Just a thought, would like input on it please
by Jesika ini was cleaning the house and since our roommate works 3rd shift i have to do this quietly since he sleeps during the day.
i can't have the radio blasting or the tv on really loud so i clean in silence, which tends to make the mind wonder.. here was my thought, might be dumb but here goes------------.

PRE vs POST 1975 Field Service
by Amazing inreading many posts about field service over the last few years almost always reveals an almost "disgust" for the door-to-door work ... admissions by ex-jws of hating it "all along," but doing it out of pressure.
when i first left the religion in 1992, i don't recall all the hatred of field service by ex-jws ... mostly i heard of ex-jws feeling weird not doing it anymore, or wondering if now a different message should be carried under another banner.
myself, i never hatred the work, just began to feel it was useless.

So, now your the victim? LOL. Did I post a topic to call you names or rally the pack for an assult? Too bad you cannot address the issues I have raised. But, for your benefit, I hope this helps:
"Pointing out problems" with someones position does not require you to start name calling or belittling the person!
I only addressed your posts, and for the most part, ignored your "go back to the KH" insults (that really hurts, you know). XJW or not, I will always defend persons who are attacked by others with the Wolf pack mentality. I hoped my argument for a kinder, gentler, treatment of people (Jws too!) would touch your heart. Well, I guess you cannot win them all!
At any rate, if you put it out there, get ready for some feedback. You can post anything you want, and I defend that to the last, however, I will also respond to make a difference for the good.
Look, I have been bitten by the Jws as much as the next guy. After almost three years out, it is hard to make "worldly friends" and my heart hurts every time I see one of my dearest JW friends at the store and I cant even hold a conversation with. I can go on and on........I have promised myself that I will not, ever, treat any person the way the JWs treat XJWs or even some still inside.
Look, if you came across a person who was dressed very poorly than you, would you get mad at that person because she was dressed as a beggar and in a poorer state than you? No, you would (hopefully) feel for that person and help. What about a person who is improvised spiritually, or in a cult, living in a very poor state? I suggest that you dont get mad at them, but, feel for them and lets see how we can help them out.
Once more, for the record, I resist any attempt to post hurtful words and name calling about any one poster (XJW or not). You want to address issues? Fine, but lets all respect others viewpoints.
Remember, dont confuse respect for admiration. You dont have to admire anyones viewpoint, but you should always respect their position. Remember, not long ago we were all like LU2.......

Your responses seem to be Paranoid, judgmental, intolerant, name calling, slandering..........Are you sure you are not a JW?

What to do with the van I bought new

1967 VW Bus....I have put over $10,000 into it (paint, drive train, ect.,), would not trade it for the world.
Just did a three state run in it! No payments.....tags are $45 in California...Insurance is $175 a year...

You are right, I do seem to be intolerant of negative, counter productive posts geared to specific persons. If an unfair, name calling, or unfriendly post was started about you, you would have my support.
