  International Freedom Fest going strong

  we are having so much fun talking with everyone.

  there are about 30 here tonight, and we just had dinner, ...............chicken on the bbq, coleslaw, and lots of good appetizers.. angharad, and "her ladyship" (also known as englishman's wife), and inky are in the hot tub, and there are little groups of conversation going on all over the house and outside on the deck.. cruzanheart, bigtex and sixofnine got here a few minutes ago.

  there are 8 from england so far, including a very nice couple who were on my flight from atlanta.. several of us went out on joy and steve's big sailboat for several hours and it was so fun, and relaxing.. tomorrow we get ready for the big halloween party.

  Dealing my own sexual abuse

  i've mentioned it a few times, but between the ages of 5-7 i had my two female cousins living with me.

  my parents were doing them a favor by letting them live there, but what they didn't know was the prior sexual abuse and molestation by members of their/our family...well, it is in my opinion the trickle down theory of abuse and i also know and remember doing some of the same things with my own siblings even a couple years after they weren't there any more.. i often ask myself.

  am i responsible for that?

  Hi Valis,

  Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but if I'm reading it right you're asking if childhood sexual experimentation is the same as pedophilia? No. Doing things as a child, WITH other children...even if they were things that would be considered "outside of the norm" for children your age(because of the abuse by adults upon your cousins) is still not the same.

  If you as a grown man looked at little children and were sexually stimulated by them...then you would have a problem. And no, I don't think sexual experimentation by children is nearly as damaging as abuse by an adult. Just my opinion.

  Hi everyone!

  My son and I arrived home around 7 this evening, and we are wiped out! Too much sun and fun.

  Joy and Steve are the MOST gracious hostess and host ever, they make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We had an amazing time, meeting the British invasion made the 9 hour drive totally worthwhile. Everyone in their costumes Friday night was something to see. I did NOT recognize Eman. When he came out in costume, makeup and all I had to ask...."Who are you?" And he leaned over and said in his deep voice...."Well hello Tracy". It was creepy, like Hannibal Lecter or something.

  It was sad to leave this morning, but so many new people were introduced, and some old friends caught up with....I wish I was still there. Give everyone there a hug from me!!!!!

  P.S. I need to see pics of everyone in costume....where are they????

  Allright, the party's started already! That means it should be going gooooood and strong by the time we get there Friday! Since Doug couldn't come with me this time I'm bringing my almost 18 year old son Nick. This will be the first official Halloween party for BOTH of us...isn't that cool????
