  don't you hate it when someone you know comes up with some new thing that you have never heard about?

  you sit there in apparent ignorance as they pontificate about the proofs and merits of some idea so far beyond common knowledge that it can only be revealed by people of exceptional enlightenment such as they.

  Perfect Organization

  i've noticed alot of jw "catch phrases".

  one that comes to mind is "jehovah's perfect organization" and "imperfect men".. if you accept the definition of oganization as "a group of people joining together for a common goal", then how can a group of imperfect men make up a perfect organization?

  is the organization somehow separate from the people in it?

  Judicial Defense ?

  it occurs to me that this forum has a vast resource of knowledge and experience.

  i'd like to suggest we put our heads together and find possible defenses for active witnesses facing a judicial committee.

  with frenchy's intimate knowledge of committee rules and rr's huge library, along with everyone's individual experience; we we should be able to build a logical defense (assuming logic is a useful tool to jw's).. from my own research, i have put together a logical defense for an active jw who wishes to associate with a da'd friend.

  Double Standards

  it seems to me that witnesses and the wtbts live by a number of double standards.

  for example: witnesses are taught that they have a sacred duty to meet and talk to non-believers (field service).

  yet if they meet and talk to a non-believer who happened to be a witness and disassociated themselves they face severe punishment (disfellowship).

  thanks for the support.

  it is very hard after having been raised as a witness, to strike out and make new friends.

  and my family refuses to accept my new husband.

  i had many very bad experiences.

  they changed the whole direction of my life.. has anyone ever wondered where the money goes.
