Why I'm not agnostic
by Coded Logic ini think the time to be agnostic is when you have evidence on both sides of a claim.
for example, i'm agnostic about the existence of a historical jesus.
i think a reasonable case can be made that jesus was a man who was turned into a legend over a period of a couple of decades.

Why is it unthinkable, that for life too, a pre-set of similar instruction, or set of circumstances exists in the natural laws, that led to us being here, without any further direct action by a deist creator? If one of those half-thimble full had propagated, would it not be a rare anymore but have colonized the whole planet.?

The compelling snake story, oil or not, was : "you will not die" promise!. That was easy to make believe, in the beginning, with 960+ old geezers around. In 1919 it was " millions now living will never die" getting harder, but (not overlapping yet). If you read the words of "Jesus" he said actually, the generation would pass away, after 1) Jerusalem (2nd the world) had passed away. So there is no promise of an endless generation in Math 24. ( may be that is the reason for the wt flip to an anointed generation, for they will pass away, earlier then prophesied even]. -

Wt not only tried to stretch the generation, making it longer, they also are asserting it covers a shorter time. because "Jesus" decreed that the generation would include, or see the final destruction (of Jerusalem, the world), but wt writers say: no!, the anointed overlappers will pass away before the final destruction*.
They shorten the time covered, but try to stretch it by packing more (2 consecutively living groups) into it.
* the good thing in this idea they love is, that the goal of all jws, : to survive Armageddon, will not be shared by the anointed GB, F&DS.
