  it is asked by somebody who does exist.. that question could not be asked if there actually were nothing.. .

  that is a question asked only by people who exist.. if there were nothing-- the question would not be asked because it could not be asked.. .

  Is it not hypocritical of the WTB&TS to acknowledge women can be a part of the 144000 annointed ones to rule with Christ ,yet deny them a place on the Governing Body ?

  if jehovah and jesus see fit to allow women to be a part of the ruling elite in heaven for a thousand years , who are the g.b.to deny them that privelidge on earth ?

  the basis of family life since adam & eve is the complimentary balance of male and female input ,so shouldnt that rule also apply to the governing of a christian congregation ?.

  there was, in simpler times a strict division of gender specific roles, with all species that have successfully evolved.

  Those rules for roles were written into the scriptures , as in the NT !Cor.14:33-38, I Tim 2: 11-15.

  Bible based religions are stuck with that, but have sidestepped to varying degrees some of these stark/ dark age instructions. .

  With the bible discredited as a factual history, inspired guide,

  the superior capabilities of woman should now fully come to the fore.

  as to the prospect of good woman personalities ruling the cosmos WELL as part of the 144 000. ?

  That is one promess that is believable, even if all the other promesses are not.

  eden one, thank you: great job, the writing skills displayed on this forum are formidable, as is also the case with the satire produced here. it is hard to tell the imitation from the real thing .

  It is good to ponder these arguments . I think few would argue that the GB today does not posses extraordinary powers .-- a corporate entity of that size would require it.

  without going into all the details, there was no monopoly control in the first century.

  The fact that the procedures and details were openly exposed then , rather than the near-paranoid secrecy that shrouds the operation of the whole thing today shows there is no direct comparison or attempt to model on what "spirit guidance" produced in apostostolic times.

  One parallel seems to be valid though:

  Just as the one official meeting of the older men on the circumcision, idolatry, blood issue was initiated and driven from the bottom up, so the serious "newer light" corrections in doctrine were forced upon today's leadership by overwhelming evidence from the outside, from the bottom up.

  Just as Peter, the "GB" member was admittingly startled by the brilliance and originality* of Pauls teachings (2 Peter 3:16) that originated outside the realm of control of the first century inner circle, so today, if the truth would be openly known, the situation is the same in wtland, when it comes to the origin of VALIDly defined doctrine.

  * ransom, New Jerusalem & J-- above, meeting procedures ICr. 14:34, ISRAEL of GOD , Congregation of the first born ------just to name a few.

  Caveat:--BUT all this is an interesting banter only, if it turns out that there never was a naked lady that was cloned from a spare-rib and had a conversation with a speech-endowed snake, results of which made humans subject to the laws of thermo-dynamics, entropy like the animals, and raised legal questions about governance of the Cosmos.

  the wine taken at the memorial of christ's death represents this life, given as a sacrifice to atone for adamic sins.

  jesus said that unless you eat of his flesh and drink of his blood, you have no life in yourself.

  and of course, the book of Revelation, supposed to picture the congregation conditions in THE LORDS DAY (wtspeak since 1914) shows propheticly these latter - day 7 congregations answering DIRECTLY to Christ, chapters 2&3.

  NOT a chain of command with its pinnacle in BrookPatterKill !! prophecied. 7 autonomous congregations, BOEs fully responsable. some individuals acknowledged by Christ to be blame free.

  The whole thing is so flawed, it fails all tests.

  todays scientists can and do insert their trademark into dna.. why couldn't jehovah anticipate scientists learning this technique and stumbling across a strand that says "human by yhwh"?.

  that would have answered a lot of questions.. he could have even included a model number human2.0.

  Now space has stretched, and that some 1 second now has a very low frequency/ energy level frequency in its duration*

  at the speed of the propagation of that radiation, time is constant.

  space expands with time, time remains constant.

  jgnat: thank you. for the cute cube. In a way this more complicated idea underpins my thought: Times is eternal. Time existed before the present universe. Time by itself is stationary. it is space or the substance in it that moves. expands.

  In the pulsating universe you showed, there is constant acceleration +&- . that is a function of time to the second power,-- Time that can NOT be pulsating at the same rate, or there would be no effect, nothing to measure against.

  so, the Universe, pulsating or starting from scratch to expand, requires there Had to be time TIME before the (last) Big Bang.

  A contracting Universe would not be reversing into the still existing past, like a film played backward. the past is gone, only fossils remaining. light is the oldest fossil of everything. that is why

  The DNA and any message in it (the above topic) has to be replicated to be carried into the future by the new offspring, improved we hope, by our wise choices of mates.
