the new understanding

hi guys , i know i was never a favorite here and haven't posted in awhile ... question .

what do you think of the new understanding of , " this generation " they seem to go in circles on this one big time , once 1914 generation was almost gone they said they didn't know what it meant and now in the new publication the generation includes the second generation after 1914 .... i agree they don't know what they are talking about and this is just another control move .

any comments ?.

JC was talking to disciples that were not anointed yet, but would be at Pentecost. But according to "new understanding" he was talking about the overlapping anointed, and if wt is right, none of the anointed will ever be alive as humans to experience "all these things happening" They will have died, raptured before.

David Splane allowed for other anointed to be older than Franz who died at 99 in 19192. Franz the second would bring us to ~ 2075, two overlapping supercentenarians to 2095, which in cosmic time is soon.

Don't touch ark of covenant

i raised an issue with a co once about an elders qualifications, he visited my house and in no uncertain terms said don't touch ark of covenant ( referring to elder as ark ) , i was gob smacked then he said to wife and i that if we pursued such an avenue we could be grieving gods holy spirit.

so ther you go elder are on par with god ..

i felt that i always was in tune with the universe, it's, creative drive, the ongoing work, a working creator,----- but today i found out i am also made in the image of the other, the bible god.

a low life of the thieving community stole my blue permanent handicap parking wheelchair hanger out of my vehicle.

i would have cleaned all of them off the face of the earth at that moment.

Zeb, yes, I think it is outrageous that the old, the handicapped are targeted, or worse. the young, Yet in nature, predators follow that pattern, opportunistically. and: The Governing Body dabbling in the latter day forbidden fruit, "time" and appointed times, exposes them and their spiritual dependants to divine outrage too, (remember this is under the humour section). well It is good that I am unable to implement my fury, unlike the mythological gods, including the JJ duality.--Bought a renewal blue wheelchair hanger today and passed on the easy to remember number of the stolen one, it should turn up in our oversized village, and the police will be waiting. easy does it.

What is the purpose of life?

while reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.

because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".

i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

Interesting Freudian slip: Life has very low entropy, like the young universe, which was as close to the creator as you can get (if there is one), So, yes, Life is as close to the creator as matter can get, and getting closer, creating inorganic life perhaps?

The purpose of life is Freude.

The generation are not the anointed. Because: according to Jesus, the generation will not pass away, will survive the end'.---but the wt anointed will all not survive to even see armageddon, none will survive it, because they are called to heaven before, to fight there. so, the generation must be the OS not the anointed.

china has just switched on its 500 metre diameter radio telescope, nearly twice as large as the previous largest.

among other things it is tasked to do, it will eventually be programmed to look for and analyse radio waves that may have a non-natural origin.. so will the scientists manning this facility eventually hear yhwh and jesus having a chat?.
