The one oclock meeting
by Steel ini go to a hall (very rarely) with a single cong of about 60 people in a small city of maybe 10000. our board of elders is a bunch of childless weirdos or at least the ones that make an effort.. they recently changed the sunday meeting time from 10/12 to 1/ 3. a number of us are pissed off.
its makes to hard to drive to the city or go to a football game.. i just know the gestopo elders behind the change.
if your life isnt as miserable or pointless as theirs, they arent doing their job.

I thought the Thread title about the wall was a joke, at least an invitation to joke. Normally I close my contribution by ending with a reference to the talking snake source of all things biblical, should have done it here.

If any of our participants here are from Berlin, they would have gotten the gist. Under both the Nazis and the Commies, it was very risky to criticise, let alone ridicule the ruling regime, but the galgenhumor was a cottage industry. so, DJS, if you did not get the satire, you know the reason how people like me survived both dictatorships, we can sting without the object of our mirth knowing it on the surface, , or daring to react. both nazis and commies are gone, can the prophecy panderers be far behind?

Clearly the animals ate of that wisdom tree, scientist study them all the time, to copy the amazing bionic capabilities. May be that is how the snake got to be able towalk and talk?

Would it be ethical for another nation to supply weapons to anti-Trump protesters?

it is claimed that the usa supplied weapons to anti-government forces.

Mexico is preparing to give special help to it's illegal immigrants in the US through ii's many consulate branch offices. Weapon help is hardly needed in the US, the "open carry" center of the world.
But the idea of battles in the streets between migrants and local authorities is not far fetched. read the german news sites. Police is attacked on a daily basis, will not enter areas controlled by migrant parallel societies. Cross border migration is legal in Europe, not North America. the scene of the world is changing, not for the better.

Canada Bethel (Georgetown) to begin renovations early 2017
by Richard_I ina letter was just read at my midweek meeting that georgetown (canada bethel) will have renovations done on it beginning spring 2017. the letter asked for publishers who are electricians/plumbers/etc.
and in good standing to apply to help out.
those helping out will be considered "part-time commuters" and will only be at the property for about 3 days a week and must reside outside of bethel and pay for all their own expenses.

well, we had specialists going to bethel, but reading this letter , including invitation to ask the local elders for approval, across 4 time zones from cape spear to tofino seems to be only an invitation to support with funds. funny.

the story really has nothing to do with creation as such, but is a crazy creation itself. obviously, there are no talking, walking snakes. Humans are really divine, made in the image of god, but then becoming even more so , because their diet now included fruit of the knowledge tree. Taking 960 years to die is rewarding though, if you could have been diced in seconds by the swords. s-words, swindle words.
Even the bible's specific creation story, Gen 1:1 is wrong, off by 1000 000 000 years.
