Timi1972: How about this one. By looking at this scripture we can evidently conclude that the great crowd are the increasing number of "anointed" ones.

Close, but not quite right. instead:

The members of the great crowd are the 12 tribes that the 144 000 come out of. The real sealed ones (only known to the sealing angels) are a rarer species than the garden variety partakers. to prove:

Take the story of the coveted positions to the left and right of Jesus, 2 out of 12, making the non-sealed hopeful partakers the symbolic "10", all the earthly ones.

You dont want to be a ruler with Christ anyway, if the axe awaits your neck. Rev.20. Perhaps only ~200 witnesses were thus executed (guillotined) since 1914, they are the only ones to meet that stricter criterium. Here is the fix:

The wt partakers, including the GB* are not the anointed overlapping generation, but are the survivors of Armageddon instead. they must be survivors, to not pass away before the end. They, with all believers, are "Spiritual Israelites", aka the 12 tribes, the great crowd members. who all should partake. 144k? Only the angels know,, and they are not telling (yet). The fix:

Let all partake, bring on the wine. 144k is literal but a "sacred secret". sacred and scary.

p.s. The overall number are not surprising, it is wt's interpretation of them, over ~100 years that is wrong, as usual.

pun: Ever since the number has been growing then it's significance is nil.

The significance was always null, and void. because this is based based on the idea that only a few should partake, have forgiveness of sin, everlasting life, be "anointed. The text in Rev 7 speaks of being "sealed" out of all those that should be partakers. and

Yes, nuts, --- the bible, according to wt, is only written for the anointed, so if they seriously believe in talking snakes, walking on water, graves opening and dead walking into jerusalem, and keeping millions in that frame of mind, how can they not be nuts at some level, having a void?

I was talking about the billions of past partakers in "Christendom. sorry, I might have "gone beyond the things written" by wt. but:

1 Cor. 27 "--drinks unworthily will be guilty-- 29: drinks judgement against himself--Hebr. 10:26: no sacrifice left--29: severe punishment-- sin against --blood of the covenant. "

WT basically has declared all religious activity post-John's writings illegitimate, including their doctrines, ceremonies; ( wt require re-baptism for example). The implications are clear, even if wt perhaps never put it that way. The wt way,-- or you are a goner, gone to gehenna.

Hence, it is plain to see that this is just another failed doctrine.

failed, false, particularly if you consider that wt doctrine stipulates that if you partake unworthily, there is no fall-back to the earthly hope. multiple millions of "non-wt-Christians" partook, during the millennia, unworthily.

me "I THINK that the catholic church teaches that once a person dies they can no longer help those on earth.

Do not catholics believe those declared saints, do deeds to help earthlings? St Christopher for travellers? and on and on,? and does wt not teach that those anointed that were resurrected starting in 1918 are part of the spirit direction of the organisation, they just don't sit there with their harps, right? and

How about the 1000s of closet partakers at home, sipping, and watching the full moon?

Talking of Catholics, do they not have saints too? not just all those partaking of communion, but a special class guaranteed to be in heaven? Working in our behalf, like the already 1918 resurrected wt anointed? May be the GB, F&DS should hold court too, with a devil's advocate to sort out the insane partaker vs fake mess.

Really, partaking is not meant to be an exclusive practise for the wt "saints", it is for forgiveness of sins, all Adam&Eve/s brood, brother.

FM: Surely you are aware that other denomination have other interpretations of the meaning of the great tribulation?. Wt has it's peculiar, evolving concept. When I got fascinated with Rev, 11: 18b, in the old bible of my ancestors, The GT, wt version, had already started, I was living in the hiatus era, gt interruptus, to allow the Great Crowd to come out of, not survive, but come out of the mess.Now,

as it stands, the wt god, and his invisible mountain will have to prove their existence by finally acting. The instability by a trump tragedy could trigger a destruction of the living Earth as we know it. so:

no great tribulation, no wt god.? is that not circular reasoning? preferring the circle of the Earth over its biblical four corners?

conveniently, the main protagonists of that proposition, the GB, F&DS will have disappeared, supposedly raptured before the proof is even delivered. Even miraculously buried, disposed of, like the fleshly remains of Jesus. You believe that?

In the first fulfillment, survival depended on changed location., and thus the generation survived, wt now teaches the generation will not survive, a big break from the bible text. In wt videos, bunker scenes and all, location seems to play a part again though. wt has been wrong so often, all has to be taken with a grain of salt [y scepticism]

I thought that going so close to the NJ state border would render any random attack across the line a federal responsibility, by law. Even Morris, including the veteran, none of them have really seen total war, so, I do not think escape was a factor in location choice . The furthest away they were is in Lansing, the old Gilead, north of cornell university.
let us see whether Rev 11:18b holds. Trump holds the trump card for that one.

Fisherman, I am not thinking tactically, but strategically, to my mind, and having lived under formations of hundreds of bombers, and the new weapons-, Rev 11:18 is not triggered, if at all, by anything we have seen so far. In a MAD exchange, Survivors in the periphery of a prime target area like warwick, will wish they had stayed put in the center. but, remember, the great tribulation intervention will only come under one condition, --that there really was a walking, talking snake.

ps. Jesus said, that the generation will survive all these things, the end, the GT, Armageddon. That is why it would make sense to build where it conceivable really is out of harms way. The wt problem is, this safety thing is in contradiction to their doctrine; because the generation's cream, the GB & anointed are not supposed to survive, but die and be raptured before the fireworks even gets close to starting.

Fisherman, I am amused of many posters referring to the wt move as to upstate, like the term is understood . Warwick It is not that far, secluded, like Lake Placid, the site of 2 Olympics, Warwick is within direct sight of their common former location, not even out of serious harm's way. You probably could bounce a laser from Columbia heights off a manhattan skyscraper, and signal the tower, at least a hilltop near the new wt compound.

p.s.: so, even in warwick, the anointed might get their wish to be expedited to heaven, at the beginning, the early stages of the GT, to be able to administer the coup de grace on the world,-- as immortal warriors.
