Do you believe in "same sex" marriage?
by Carmel inyesterday i tuned into espn sports radio and listened to a semi-political debate on several issues.
when "same sex" marriage came up one of the talking heads refrained that "all marriages are same sex.
" you get married and have the "same sex" over and over again!

Since I still want to believe in the Bible and God, I don't support homosexual activities. But I don't condamn or judge anyone who practices. It is not my job but God's. However, if they want to get married, WHY NOT?
Banning same sex marriage itself is based on the traditional religions. Aren't politics and religion supposed to be separate? If they ban, what good does it do? Unless the whole country is trying to campaign against the homosexual (which I never expect that to happen), I don't see any point. The people are living together already. So why not give them a piece of paper that says they are stuck to eachother until they get divorced? Our society and the whole world have been and are going to be more open to homosexual. What is the point of now saying, "Wait a minute! We don't like that"?

I just confronted a car full of dubs in the preaching work!
by Atilla inyep, just got back from getting my morning coffee and they were across the street from my house talking to a lady that i believe is turning into a return visit.
i was frantically looking for the un letter, found it and then approached the car as they were just getting back in.
the old dub guy totally denied any un involvement and went into the speal about why the un and before that league of nations was so bad.

an amazing incident tonight
by littlemike ini have just learnt form an ex jw friend of mine that one of our aquaintances who hasnt been to meetings for about 2 years has been announced as voluntarily dissassociating himself.
this is totally untrue an elder on his own went round to enquire about a moral issue with him and no more was heard no judicial or anything.
our aquaintance has rang the elder tonight after finding out about the announcement without ever being told it was going to happen.

Thank you everyone for your posts.
I took a nap for an hour today before I started working. Yes, I'm still working for 3 - 5 hours a day. I teach piano at home. So it is not too bad. But it still takes a lot of energy from me. I still have to come up with a creative dinner idea everyday to make it easier for me.
Stef, I'll remember the rasberry tea.
Wednesday, thank you for your advise. I'm going to see my doctor next week. So far my blood pressure has been good even though I've been having swellen feet, legs and hands. I'm trying to cut down on salt.
I wish I can just crochet all day without working. I'm working only for 3 weeks this month, and I'm off for a month. Hopefully everything goes well. The baby is in head-down position already. He is getting ready to make a flashy entrance to the world.

I don't think the WTS will come up with an another date. They should know better by now. If they do, it'll be the end of their business. Hmm....actually I want them to come up with a new prediction.
