  QUALIFIED ELDERS---WHERE ARE THEY?

  lately, more and more elders are either resigning or being deleted.

  a few elders have been known to be "good elders", brothers that really did care about the flock more than the organization.

  some that are presently elders are having their own crisis of conscience.most elders that i have come to know are quite simply, not that bright.

  According to the WTS, you can't be a good elder if you care more about the people than the org. Besides I've never met any elder who cared more about the people than the org.

  isn't this just a pitiful way of saying, 'i can't deal with my anger'....'just be passive and be quiet and don't have any expectations'....'life is just too difficult; count me out'....'i can't have any impact anyway so why should i even try?

  i lost track of her between this time as she was in another congregation.

  i eventually moved permanently to her cong.

  She was a victim of the WTS. When we talk about the silent lambs, we think of the survivors of molestation. But I begin to think victims as Sarah are lambs, too, who have been spiritually and emotionally abused and silenced.

  Honda vs. Oldsmoble

  believe it or not i've purchased two cars (oldsmobile) through the borg connection - the circuit leasing group.

  admittedly both cars were pretty reliable and pretty maintenance free.

  the first car i brought from them i had to pick it up at bethel, a brother was driving it up from texas.
