  Computer games or television or internet?

  its funny when i was younger my family always called me to come downstairs and be with the family,but the problem was my family would all just sit and watch tv and hardly say anything,so when someone says to me you play to many computer games or browse the web i say well its better than watching tv for 5-6 hours a day,all though i was brought up around tv i must admit i have started reading alot and now i actually like reading books and info on the net.is it the same for most of you on here,was your family boring or interesting, do like to play computer games,internet, etc.

  i recently bought an x-box and a gamecube halo and rogue leader are brilliant im hooked!!!!

  Dub Memories, Part 2

  at the end of part two, i moved to a suburb on the outskirts of one of africas richest cities, johannesburg.

  here, suddenly, instead of the pallor and grime of rural south africa, beautiful mansions, bmws, and stylishly dressed people suddenly surrounded us.. .

  my family felt a bit left out, since we werent exactly very well off when we arrived.

  First of all, what is "caoul dlearn"?

  The reason we talk about the negativities of the WTS ( you can call it "bashing") is that the WTS and JWs bash other people. Didn't Jesus say something about it in Matt.7:1 - 6? Hmmm????

  So Bleep,

  Do you think Jesus would give the WTS a pat on the back saying, "Great job, guys!" despite of all their false prophecies, UN involvement, Child Molestation Cases, and not to mention all the victims who suffered or died because of their misguidances? Now remember that many times they knew exactly what they were doing, but just decided to ignore.

  We all are here to cry out about the injustice of the WTS. We are all here because the WTS makes people go door to door with deceiving messages to make more "victims of victims" and "followers of followers". We all know how painful that experience is. We all have been there. We, (sorry guys for speaking in behalf of you without any permission), just cannot watch that happening again. That is why we are here speaking out.

  In another thread, I think it was you who told me that you cannot judge any of the Silent lambs. I have to say that you are judging us at this board, and maybe enjoying our attention.

  Bleepy, I still think you are a good kid. But please be careful of what you are saying.

  Unfortunately this kind of case is not new any more. People just think that the JWs are nuts. And that's all. Since the girl refused the transfusion for herself, I don't think anyone would give this case enough sympathy. I feel really sorry for her father. I feel so helpless, too.

  i thought i'd hit it several times before...as i have been thru the divorce over the past couple of years...lost all my so-called friends...lost my belief in what i thought was the "truth"....and now my own loving daughter, being the good little dub she is has told me she doesn't want me to walk her down the aisle at her wedding.

  she told me today at lunch.

  i almost threw up.
