We have a new baby!

he's 9 weeks old, looks just like our dear departed dexter's baby pictures, and doesn't take any guff off ladybug.
after the initial shock of a wee thing following her everywhere, miss lady is starting to enjoy having a dog around who will actually play with her (dexter was very old when we got ladybug, and he was more inclined to growl and snap at her than play).

I Have The Best Wife Everrrrrrr!
by Corvin inmy wife just came home and brought with her, the widescreen version of the lord of the rings- the return of the king on dvd!.
she ordered it two weeks ago, and we have been watching the first two getting ready for the third.
now, if i can just get her to wear that arwen costume for me .

i thought it was a discussion board for those interested in/ for jehovah's witnesses, but it seems like you're all former jehovah's witnesses?

Welcome to the board, journey! And I appologyze for some hostile posters in this board as well. They don't mean harm. They are, just like all of ex-jws, hurt by the Watchtower Society (the WTS) so much that some times they (we) could get very defensive.
I'll try to answer some of your questions.
Do I plan to go back to "ailing" other churches? If you think the other churches are ailing, you really should do some research on the WTS itself. I have seen both the good side and the bad side of the WTS and other churches. So I might go back to other church.
You think the Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones who are peaceful and innocent? Try Mormons. They are much nicer than the jws, and contribute a lot more to the neighbors who are not even in the same faith.
I do wish you can stay around. And bring your friends, too.

What Would a JW Discussion Forum Accepted By The Society Really Be Like?
by minimus insuppose for a minute that the society allowed certain pro-jw sites to exist as long as they were heavily moderated by "mature ones".

Anyone Involved In The Resturant Business????

we have been doing our research and have alot of great ideas.
however, neither one of us has any experience in the resturant business.

About 30 minute from where I live, there is the best sushi place called, Shushi Boat. They make fresh sushi right at the spot and place it on a tiny boats that float around the sushi bar. If you go there in dinner time, you will see the variety of sushis; They are Art!!! Some of them are just too beautiful to eat.
In order to be a successful sushi place, of course, you have to have a great sushi master who has a lot of imaginations, and knows not only how to make it tasty but also to make it beautiful to look at.

Which men / lads here cry when listening to music / watching films?
by Celtic inyou know how some of us guys have to put on a bit of an act sometimes, we have to set our faces into our coping scowl, but underneath, we're too well aware of just how soft we are?
well.. what music to the big guys here only, not you wimpy bunch, brings a tear to your eye or which films is it that you need to keep a box of tissues handy by you to wipe away the dampness in your eye?.

My husband cried when he saw the movies, "Cinema Paradiso" and "Life is Beautiful."
His eyes get watery whenever he gets a card with a touching message from me. I love this soft side of his. He is so cute.

$600 for a daycare? That's not too bad. When was that? My sister-in-law in suburb or Kansas City, MO was paying $800.
I know. Here is the Bay Area the housing price is quite high. So I guess that makes CA expensive overall.
