WT destroying old literature
by startingover ini was approached by an elder about a year ago asking what i am going to do with my large collection of wt literature.
he told me the society had put word out that they were collecting old literature.
i asked him why but he couldn't give me a definite answer.

Who still goes to meetings and out in field service?
by SloppyJoe injust curious as to who on here still regularly attends meetings and goes out in service?
as i sit at the district convention i can't help but think who else out in the crowd is just like me.
doesn't believe what they hear, but are still here..

I have no family in the org so after being df for asking questions about doctrine changes I used to go to all meetings but now a year later I have decided after reading CoC captives to a concept..and discussions with other enlightened ones that I will go to no more meetings etc. I have lost any confidence I might have had in the gb who seem to change doctrine policy to cover their failings....after 30 years in my eyes and mind are open again....

after reading all you can you'll see that according to them, jesus only mediates for the 144k.

by Lynnie inso what was said at the latest dc about disfellowshipped people and how to treat them?
i've been df'd for 35+ years and of course it's been very difficult.
my mother is a diehard jw and is 83 years old, still pioneering etc.

the trio kept that stance when the case was brought before newcastle crown court.

Thinking of becoming a JW.

i am new to here so please be bear with me.. i have always believed in god, but was never baptised, my parents wanted me to make up my own mind religon wise.. i am thinking of becoming a jw and am just needing some advice on how to do this, bible study and jw beliefs.
also do jw say grace and how.. i am greatful of any help.. thanks.
