WT Mtg "read scriptures" are only to be read by a 1 brother???
by Olivia Wilde inwe had co visit recently & it appears that the co told the elders of the congregation that the scriptures indicated on the wt to be "read" on the watchtower study are only to be read by 1 brother in the entire study.... the elder conducting the watchtower announced that at the wt mtg... i was like what???
only men?....
has anyone else had this occur in their congregation?

CO Comes Up With A New Way To Be Judgemental...

during the meeting with the elders and servants he passed out a copy of a hypothetical publisher card and asked us what we could learn from it.
upon receiving it i saw that the average hours were pretty good, it had return visits and quite a few bible studies.

the CO visit always precipitated insincere enthusiasm and staged responses. Those who harboured ambitions were kept prepped and hogged the spotlight. Others who were genuinely modest and gentle were never noticed. Very much a dog eat dog time. Elders would hold secret meetings to plan how to manoevre the CO when he arrived. I found the whole week one of sham field service and rehearsed items. -

...I have a circular thought re universe expansion....if it is expanding..what is it expanding in?..ie.what is outside it for it to expand into?....after a while I get a headache! -

My thoughts on the last WT study. Keep in Expectation

it is no myth by now that the more time you spend awake the harder it is the accept that people just take all of this in without asking.
a computer has more reasoning abilities than your average jw at this point.

by cofty inin this video the popular saudi cleric sheik yahya al-jana discusses the joys of paradise, saying that men will have the strength of a hundred men in paradise and will be busy tearing hymens, while the virgins of paradise, whose breasts are like pomegranates, become virgins every time again.. the cleric also explains it is mostly men who enter paradise noting that women in general are bad because they refuse to wear the veil, they wear tight clothes in shopping malls, put on perfume and jewelry, and use filthy social media platforms.
source.... this is what young men from conservative muslim families are raised on.
is it any wonder islamic countries treat women appallingly?.

Their attitudes towards women are shocking. Ironic that were it not for women none of them would have been born. Where did their treatment of women originate? No logic to any of it as far as I can see. -

but last night some friends from across the city called me up and said that the co was visiting their hall and in his talk he said that the society is getting geared up for a massive kingdom hall and assembly hall construction project worldwide next year.
they told the publishers; "get ready".

A call from family - Armageddon this month!
by kaik ini very seldom receive a call from my jw siblings, i mean seldom.
i can count them on my hand in past 10 years.
while we talk about mom a lot and i am in touch with her, i was very surprised when i received this call.
